Starting the thread for gidion this week. Let's get in a New York state of mind and give a good beat down on the Giants

I didn’t think this old phone would let me sign on. . I lost my phone in the river in Oregon. Didn’t know my password was loaded on this old phone.Had my son start the game thread.

Really glad this phone is the one I still have. Have Alien Shooter game on this phone with a few thousand dollars worth of upgrade’s that I earned by kicking some butts. I thought this one was missing too but it was under the car seat.

    Lost phone is no fun.

Anywho, the Giants are missing both starting tackles so Daniel Jones may retire after the game. Or during.

So once again, we get to play a low ranked run defense,25th ranked defense against the run, 138.1 yards per game allowed. We’re averaging 134 yards per game. You take away Fields rushing, we’re only averaging 101 yards per game, against some less than stellar run defenses. We drop from the 9th ranked run offense, all the way down to 26th. I do think with Wilson in there, they are less likely to stack the box and respect his throwing ability more so than with Fields, so hopefully that can super charge our running attack. Then, we also have the injury bug that has hit our line and backs as well. Hoping Najee can get things going have a good game. 6 out of our last 8 games will be played against top 15 run defenses.

I do think Jones and Moore needs to step up their game tomorrow, because the Giants lead the league in sacks.

what’s the over under for rushing yards??

    so far, we’ve played the
    24th Atlanta 137yds, 57 from Fields
    10th Denver 141 yds, 27 from Fields
    9th Chargers 114 yds, 6 from Fields
    31st Colts 122 yds, 55 from Fields
    28th Cowboys 92 yds, 27 from Fields
    23rd Raiders 183 yds, 59 from Fields
    16th Jets 149 yds,

Nice to be in sole possession of 1st place coming into the game. Need to leave the game the same way

Side note here, some real exciting Football yesterday.
Did anyone see the ending of the Washington/Chicago game? Hail Mary full of grace, luck, and Daniels has a cannon for an arm. Best ending of a game I've seen since The Miracle in Miami.
Watched Punk Bitch Lamar slam his helmet down. Grow up kid it's not a good look for your franchise. Meanwhile Jameson Winston earned that win, even though Hamilton dropped the pick, he also recovered the fumble, so the turnover odds of recovery evened out in the way the ball bounced on a 50/50 ball . Winston was humble in the win, sounded grounded and articulate, I root for guys like that unless they are playing Pittsburgh.
The Cowboys suck it's pretty clear they blow rhino. Some shuffling in the draft order now, in case anyone forgot I sort of follow the draft.
The Chiefs continue to roll and Mahomes isn't even dialed in yet, scary.
Buffalo killed Seattle and Holy Mackerel are are the Lions are the scariest team in the league right now?
This is the first time since the 1980's I rooted for New England. Everything about Aaron Rodgers is a total turnoff. I root for the Steelers and anyone playing against either Harbaugh or Rodgers. Was watching the play where Maye got injured, didn't seem like much, but he wasn't right after the slide.
Tonight is a trap game, the Giants roster isn't stellar, but they would like nothing more than to beat the Steelers on a National Stage.
I was rooting for Miami, they really miss Van Ginkle, their pass rush is anemic.
Everyone picked Atlanta, and even though they won, Mayfield played his ass off without many weapons. Cleveland should have kept him and surrounded him with skill players, but thankfully their FO fell in love with Watson.
The Bengals don't look right, you cannot just start off slow and then Burrow to Chase lights up the scoreboard. Higgins out and the departure of Mixon seems to be limiting their offense. Sometimes holdouts and contract disputes F up the mojo of the team and the locker room, IMHOFO.

Najee running hard again. Need to get in the end zone. Like Boz, but would like to see him only kick PATs the rest of the game

Dumb challenge, no question his second foot doesn’t hit before his butt hits out of bounds

  11. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

I’d consider going for the touchdown on 4th. Pickens has had 2 touchdowns taken off the board, hope that doesn’t get in his head too long

  12. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

    0-3 in the red zone

  13. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

FGs might get the job done tonight, not against almost any other team

  14. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

    Huge 3rd down conversion

  15. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

Jones is having a horrible game - given up a sack, caused a TD to be brought off the board. Getting consistently beat in the run game

They need to stop taking chances on these tackles that don’t have a huge college sample size of at least 2 years.

  17. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

Swear this team cannot play as favorites.

  18. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

    Porter is slipping tonight

There going to end up blowing this game, because of these stupid mistakes.

Watt or Highsmith are going to have to get home eventually.
