WOW, so much ball to watch, overwhelming. Missouri they were pretenders, Burden III may not be the best WR in the Nation, my vote is for the Ohio State freshman, Jerimiah Smith. Iowa was just overmatched, I switched games. Alabama made second half adjustments, we got a good game now, 23-21 Vanderbilt. But a crazy play 50 yarder caught 'bama napping, TD vandy. People in Nashville going nuts. Last time they beat them at home LBJ was in the white house. Now 'Bama just scored, crazy game. Fun to watch, lots of early games sucked, blowouts. Game is on SEC Network.
Watched some SMU vs. Louisville, really just a good game to watch not scout.
Looked in on Ole Miss. Walter Nolen just eat blockers and puts pressure, reminds me of Keanu Benton 2 sacks from a D Lineman is impressive . Dart looks good but no TDs. Wells and Harris productive, some big plays. TJ Sanders looks good, not surrounded by elite talent like the Ole Miss squad.

The College football has been insane, plus I had MLB playoffs and Red Wings hockey. Glad I had nothing important to do except, well, get fat n lazy watching the games.

I read your post and Vanderbilt scored again, late.... 40-35, Vandy.

Do you have an opinion on QB Gleason in Toledo, late rounder maybe, UDFA? Curious if you think he has NFL potential.

Jeremiah Smith is killing it, along with Will Howard and Egbuka, just a plethora of talent.

    Over reaction Monday Draft.

    Need DL upgrades.
    Need Edge depth
    Need a QB
Need 2 more WR who can get open
    Need OL depth
Need a Safety who can cover

    End rant.

I realize Monheim is listed as a OC but he can play anywhere on the line.

^ FIX THE FUCKING OFFENSE OVERREACTION DRAFT.

One thing I did blow on this one, waited too long for OL help, but I could not with a clear conscience pass on Jeanity, the Steelers offense needs a spark. Grabbed a few guys that will upgrade the DL, we all know Sawyer will not be there in the 7th, it's laughable. Looking back, I would have probably gone Jordan Burch over Swinson, because I could have taken an OLB later, Burch was better value.

^ I like this one a lot. Sawyer was there in the 7th, but I didn't think it was realistic. Got a real good RB in Kaytron Allen. I went Tre Harris over Technobowl Jeanity. Who I think goes first round now, won't be there at 51,
Mason Graham and Jordan Burch are home runs. Could have taken Swinson at 120 or Dumas-Johnson but Everette will be an upgrade in talent and speed to our secondary.

Nick Martin will contribute on ST, eventually could be a starter, he is an energizer bunny type. here is his bio. Keep in mind he is 6-0 220, probably a hybrid safety.

Martin burst onto the national scene in 2023, leading the Big 12 in tackles, solo tackles, and tackles per game. The Oklahoma State product's 140 total tackles were the most by any Cowboy since 1984 and the most by a Big 12 player since 2018. His 83 solo tackles topped the conference and ranked third among all FBS players.

A Texarkana, Texas native, Martin excelled on both sides of the ball in high school, earning offers to play running back and linebacker. After redshirting in 2021, he saw limited action in 2022 before exploding as a sophomore in 2023. Martin's breakout campaign earned him First Team All-Big 12 honors and fourth-team All-America recognition from Phil Steele.

Martin's rapid ascension is evident in his accolades. He was named a season captain by his teammates and garnered consideration for the Chuck Bednarik Award, Lombardi Award, Bronko Nagurski Trophy, and Butkus Award. His 16.0 tackles for loss ranked 20th in the FBS, while his sack total placed him 21st nationally among linebackers.

Mock draft Tuesday, I still like my second one better, but this time I did take technobowl Jeanity.
Getting Graham and Burch will FIX the DL, no more getting gashed.
I traded back from 157 to pick up 180 and 187 because the gap between 157 and 225 will be too great. Missed out on Antwan Wells but I got Kyren Lacy and Josiah Stewart to be the 4th OLB, Sorry Moon ain't cutting it.
Some of those picks in the 200's, two WR are usually available and are on my radar. J. Michael Sturdivant UCLA and Squirrel White Tenn. Bummed that I missed out on Everette this time around, I really feel like he will be a target and on Kahn's board. Then you can ask, why did you take Restepo? Well he is the 5th rated WR on draft buzz, and teaming him up with Cam Ward just made a ton of sense. The same logic when I was putting Tre Harris and Jaxson Dart together in my simulated mocks.

Hope someone, anyone reads all this, I am going to be super prepared for the 2025 draft. I hope the Raiders is not a trap game and I think Tomlin has to consider putting in Russell Wilson. The reason for the Dallas loss was the defense was gassed, time of possession killed them. I am not going to say woulda coulda shoulda, but on the winning TD, if NIck Herbig is there on the right edge, no way Prescott gets that pass off. I hope we get some good news on 56 and 51 this week, we need our pass rushers. Throw in 98 too, not sure how Leal is doing.

Keep in mind, I almost always go WR DL with the first two picks, unless there is a guy you cannot pass up.

Steelers currently have two WR on the roster named Pickens. George and Slim. Hope our 3rd pick is healed up and ready to contribute vs. the Raiders.

Still sorting things out, Walter Nolen is rated way too low on this site, and I know I have gotten him in round 3, or traded back, but it made no sense. Scooped up Drew Allar but there were still Cam Ward, Ewers, Dart available. I really didn't think that was possible. At 120 I wanted CB but again missed on Daylan Everette, Dumas-Johnson is just a playmaker. I think too many missed tackles vs. Dallas says we need even more ILB depth. I took Shemar Turner over Jordan Burch, that may change. I also passed on Bradyn Swinson, so by trading back, filling the gap between 157 and 225. I ended up with Josiah Stewart @ 188 who upgrades Jerimiah Moon. Kaytron Allen is a no brainer, and a new face because let's be honest, (Jonah Monheim will never be there in round 7) I went with an athletic OG in Jager Burton, who is wicked underrated. Kentucky has some real players, we need to pay attention. (hint that is why I took Dumas-Johnson). I had a choice between 3 WR at 157, Nick Harris and Tory Horton. Josh Gray OG was also sitting there, he is on my radar. Justin Walley was dumpster diving I will admit, probably after taking Nolen I could have passed on Turner, but Tommi Hill was gone, that is my other early day 3 CB.

Overall I am not killing it, but making good picks, I think. I took Egbuka over Grant because I figured Nolen would be there. I have Nolen ahead of Grant on my board, he will be a 3 down DT like Benton. Basically you have to go by Pro Football Networks rankings to really take advantage of some prospects. I didn't take Jack Sawyer in the 7th either that would have been unrealistic.

After watching some Arkansas on Saturday, I am moving up Landon Jackson, who is a game wrecker. He went 50th to Washington. Here is a picture of round 2 and my options. I am banging the table for Walter Nolen and Tre Harris. Since I took Egbuka in round 1, DL was my focus in round 2. upload_2024-10-10_10-30-54.png

So here you see round 5. Taking Turner and Wells. Lots of really good players I passed on, but I have been high on my two guys for months. I did not just click select either, I looked at other sites, my own board, and came up with these two players. Correction on Tommi HIll, no idea why he is not listed on this site, I would be targeting him if he was listed. Notice as soon as I passed on Swinson, he got grabbed, the same goes for Wells, Harris and Horton go bang bang.

No way am I passing on Kelvin Banks, then Fantanu kicks inside to Guard, that's one helluva Offensive line.
Traded up for Drew Allar, had to. Still got Nolen and Burch, winner winner chicken dinner. Took Tre Harris on this one, and backed him up with Antwan Wells. This site has Kyren Lacy at 212, which is utter bullshit, but maybe I use that to my advantage on another run. Kyle Kennard is another riser, OLB from South Carolina, he is on my board much higher than this site. Since I gave up capital for Allar, who wouldn't ? I didn't have the luxury of taking Swinson because doubling up on DL and WR is what I normally do. Cam Heyward is playing great, he needs help, not sure what is up with Benton, not seeing a jump in production to year 2. Walter Nolen is a fucking stud period. Jordan Burch can get pressure from the left side with TJ Watt, Again our WR roster is weak, I am against trading for a 31 year old malcontent in Adams from the Raiders. I will keep my second round pick and grab a stud on a rookie deal. Since I went OL in round 1, I didn't select any more, I had to look at who could actually make the roster.

Burning question I have, what the hell do we have in Roman Wilson and Russell Wilson, Tomlin better look at using talent because the Raiders are a trap game. Their QB play has sucked, well that is why Davante Adams wants OUT. Justin Fields is not putting up enough points and hitting enough targets. Again past George Pickens, we have Slim Pickens.
