On a late to the party side-note... When I watched the King Henry's 80+ yard TD from scrimmage on their first offensive series, I could believe how he out ran 3 or 4 Bills defenders. I knew he was Ox strong, but the speed burst and stamina to keep it going and not get caught was impressive.

 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson has suffered a season-ending injury for the second straight year.

Thompson is believed to have torn his Achilles during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 34-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at Bank of America Stadium. He is undergoing an MRI on Monday to verify.

The 25th pick of the 2015 draft out of the University of Washington suffered a season-ending broken fibula last year during a Week 2 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

I must say, Mahomes made two boneheaded plays/poor decisions... 1) The interception. 2) Trying to slice in like a linebacker to make a tackle.

 

That bomb to Worthy was a thing of beauty. That’s the reason I was pounding the table for the Steelers to draft him. Could you imagine him opposite Pickens?

Christian McCaffrey's achilles tendonitis is apparently bilateral (both legs), but worse in one compared to the other... I still dont see a timetable, probably later than sooner, which is a guess on my part.

 

Watched him play many times at the old Riverfront Stadium in Cincy... hell of a player.

Titans behind Rudolph and Pollard dumped Miami, 31-12... It wasnt a pretty game.

Goff and the Lions defeated the Seahawks, 42-29. This was an exact opposite game than the Titans and Dolphins as this game had major offensive plays. The Seahawks had 516 total yards to the Lions 389. Both teams are at, 3-1 on the season.

 

Rice had his MRI yesterday, but its mums the word till other tests are complete.

 

Week 4 is in the history books...

 

With all the Davante Adams rumors... maybe the Steelers ought to go after him, and hard. They clearly dont have a WR2 to hit, so why not? It would be very helpful, and I think it would even help Pickens, as it would give opposing defenses something else to consider and more targets with experience for Fields.

Just a thought.

LOL, he last played in 1986, when were you born VV?

 

1953 Irish...........I had my chance in the 80's to see him play LIVE........I lived in Quebec and he played one year for the Expos (84) and I kick myself for not going to Olympic Stadium to see him play.

I thought he was going to end his career in Montreal........lol.......he lasted ONE year in Canada and went back to the Reds in 85.

He played with some GREAT Montreal Expos.........Gary Carter...Tim Raines...Andre Dawson....I had dreams of the World Series Trophy coming to Canada with that team before Toronto won it.

That is why I'm a Washington Nationals Fan.
