Here's the thing I see... Watson doesn't own that locker room. I don't think he has respect from any corner and it shows. Flacco came in and basically said, Fuck it, let's go have some fucking fun. I got your back, you get mine and let's win some games... and they did. I don't see that excitement with Watson in the lineup. The best thing that could happen to this team is for Watson to pull his hamstring , and go on IR for the rest of the season. I this point, I don't care if it's a fake injury or not. They aren't getting a trade out of him, so what's the difference?

 

I think that’s what he wanted the masseuses to do but a little higher up.

 

Okay…..here’s a hypothetical for everyone……

If the Browns and Watson keep sucking it up……

A). How long until they bench Watson (if he doesn’t get injured from all the sacks)?

B) If they don’t bench Watson, how long until the axe falls on the coaching staff and in what order to they get fired?

 

They go hand in hand...

If the coaches don't bench him soon, they might begin falling before the end of the season.

Simple observation after Flacco coming in last year... Watson doesn't give this team the best chance to win. I believe if Flacco can do it, Winston could possibly as well. The one known, Watson is not doing it, doesn't seem to care if he does it... need to cut the losses and try to win some games.

If the losing continues, I hope they keep the coaching staff for one more year so they have to deal with the Watson consequences..

C) How long does the front office keep their jobs? We are probably going to have a high draft pick, is it time to start thinking about who will be in charge of drafting the next QB hopeful?

It took a little less than a half, but our "elite" don't bend but break defense finally showed up.

 

And then they put all their eggs in Watson’s basket only for him to take a sack to end the game cause “I’m not a running QB”. No shit Sherlock……you’re a phuqing statue in the pocket.

Less than 200 yards passing yet again by Watson. Since we aren’t going to scrap him, let the coaching heads start rolling. The offense just sucks. Ken Dorsey…….off with his head.

Browns are only team without 300 yards of offense in a game this season

Every team in the NFL has gained 300 yards of offense in a game at least once this season. Except the team that paid its quarterback the largest guaranteed contract in NFL history.

The Browns are the only team in the league without a 300-yard game, having topped out at 297 yards in their Week Two win over the Jaguars. They’re also averaging only 3.86 yards per play, dead last in the NFL.

Obviously, that’s another indictment of the Browns’ decision to trade three first-round picks, a third-round pick and two fourth-round picks to the Texans for Watson, and then to give Watson a five-year, $230 million fully guaranteed contract. No team has ever invested those kinds of resources in a player. And no team has ever had a worse return on its investment.

The reality is not only is Watson not playing well enough to justify the investment in him, he’s not even playing well enough to justify being a starter. That’s why the Browns never offered to bring back Joe Flacco. They know perfectly well that Flacco is better than Watson, and they know that their fans know that, and they didn’t want their fans clamoring for the $230 million man to be benched, so they let Flacco leave for an inexpensive $5 million contract in Indianapolis, where he just helped the Colts total 358 yards and win a game after Anthony Richardson was injured.

Six teams -- the 49ers, Seahawks, Ravens, Packers, Lions and Colts -- have gained at least 300 yards in all four games this season. Seven teams -- the Raiders, Titans, Jets, Patriots, Broncos, Cardinals and Bears -- have only done it once. The good news for the Browns is that Sunday they get the Commanders, who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. If they can’t reach 300 yards against Washington, it may be a long time before they do.
