Devin Singletary pulls a Brian Westbrook and slides down at the 1-yardline after busting a big run. That brings it to the 2-minute warning with no timeouts remaining for the Browns.
Previous, with the game on the line and 4 yards needed for a first - Deshuan Watson with three straight incompletions. Should have resigned Flacco...
So my Survivor League entered the week with 19 surviving players. After week 1 we had 48. I believe we started with well over 100. Upsets have destroyed everyone. The top selected team has lost 3 weeks straight. The Bengals, Ravens and Bucs were the top picks in the first 3 weeks, in that order. 2 NYJ - Win (me) 1 CLE - Eliminated 7 TB - Eliminated 5 LV 1 SF 1 BUF 2 CIN
Cowboys get away with some Mickey Mouse loophole to not get called for a safety on what was an illegal throw. It wasn't called intentional grounding (& safety) because a lineman caught it. Illegal Touching doesn't result in a safety even if thrown from endzone. Rule Change time.
The Cardinals had a pick 6 but it gets removed because mid play the refs decided the two-minute warning had come. Replay shows it was snapped at 2:01.
Wow, just tuned back in and seen the Ravens killing the Cowboys, 21-3. I wonder if JJ tolerates McCarthy much longer?
Joe when he threw the ball his arm and the ball were outside the end zone. Safety is only in play if the ball is thrown from behind the goal line, It wasn’t so no chance of a safety no matter what penalty was called.
That pops up from time to time... the version of the clock we see on the TV feed is a video insert that isn't always in sync with the real thing.
That would be so if he just reached forward and took the sack. The problem is it would have been grounding in the endzone had the ball touched no one as he was being sacked as he was in there. But since it touched a lineman it's illegal touching and they don't factor in anything else.
lol, 3rd and 18... Kyle Van Noy and company cream Dak for sack back at the 50, when they were inside the 40. I cant get enough of Cowboys implosions.
