Saints picked up Nwangwu. He was a very surprising cut too me. He did get chances tho. Not catching on in the backfield is what did him in and with the kick rules, who needs a returner.

Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall played well enough in the preseason to earn a spot on the initial 53-man roster.

And then he didn’t.

The Vikings have waived Hall and signed veteran Brett Rypien.

Hall, a fifth-round pick from BYU, got the first start after Kirk Cousins suffered a torn Achilles tendon last year. On the opening drive, Hall suffered a concussion near the Atlanta goal line.

He was solid in the exhibition season, with a perfect passer rating against the Browns and 26 points in five drives against the Eagles.

If Hall clears waivers, he could be signed to the practice squad. He also could sign with anyone else’s.

Sam Darnold is the starter in Minnesota. Nick Mullens currently lands at No. 2. Rypien, who has 10 regular-season appearances and four starts in four season, will become QB3.

This too me is a total bust by Kwesi. You dont move up to draft a guy, then when he's injured, he comes back and is lights out given the only opportunity he had in preseason and then cut him. Kwesi in my opinion is King Dick at the moment. IF Hall clears waivers and Kwesi puts him on the practice squad, I dont care, I stand by my assessment of King Dick.

 

I don't understand this move either Jaren Hall had shown enough that he belongs if Matt Rypien has not got the upside that Jaren Hall has Nick Mullens is the backup now, qb Jaren Hall will be claimed by some team and put on their practice squad just fu*king unbelievable

im getting reports now that Hall has cleared waivers, but Im not hearing anything from Vikings headquarters on signing him to the practice squad... stay tuned.

 

Ok I will never use that saying again ok why after the way they have treated him why would Jaren Hall ever sign with the Vikings, he just messed up admit it Kwesi-Adofo-Mensah

 

Thats a good point. Hall might not want anything to do with the Vikings now, he might just feel a bit miffed, but he may not have a choice if he wants to further his career. Maybe there was some talk going on behind the scenes that we dont know about and this all gets worked out, I just dont know.
