DJ Moore is so slept on. He’s dealt with underwhelming QBs his entire career, yet has always stepped up to be the guy.

This is a newly designed play the Steelers are working on at practice. While everyone is watching the fights, the RB waltzes into the endzone. Its called the 'bloody 1, trips wide, double short right'... It still needs a little tweaking.

Hall of Fame Game kicks-off at 8 PM ET.

Thunderstorms all around the Canton area at the moment.

I'll be curious to see the kick-off formation for the first time.

Tristen Wirfs gets 5 yr / $140M extension… where does it stop? $28M per for a lineman, wow. I know he’s a really good lineman, but damn…

Sometimes I get the feeling NFL players dont understand what they have. Im all for players getting their fair share of the pie the billion-dollar industry creates, but when Parsons and Lamb think they want to be the highest paid non-QB players after Jefferson got his contract, thats when I get pissed. Also, players like Aiyuk who turn down offers that involve 2 or 3 million dollar differences compared to others, need to STFU also. What in hell is the difference? And when did signing a contract become meaningless? If John Doe comes along and gets more cash monies than you... count YOUR blessings, not other players/peoples, period.

To counter that for sake of conversation... why not? O-Linemen, trenchers are what makes TEAMS click to begin with. Id argue if it wasnt for the hogs up front, we'd have less and less stud QB's, so my point is, its a team thing and its also about time the trenchers on both sides of the ball get paid like all the other so-called 'super-stars'.

Markus Golden is back with the Steelers.

The Steelers announced that they have signed Golden to a one-year contract on Thursday. No other terms were disclosed and linebacker David Perales was waived in a corresponding move.

Golden played for the Steelers last season and played in 17 games, including their playoff loss to the Bills. He had 23 tackles, five sacks and a fumble recovery in those appearances.

Golden began his career with the Cardinals in 2015 and returned to Arizona in 2020 after a year-plus with the Giants. He has 51 career sacks.

T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith are the top edge rushers in Pittsburgh. Golden’s return suggests they wanted more competition for Nick Herbig, Kyron Johnson, and Jeremiah Moon for backup roles.

D’Onta Foreman, RB - Browns... got blasted in the head at practice a while ago and was immobilized and carted off the field then taken to hospital. He could move his extremities.

Titans receiver DeAndre Hopkins injured his knee in practice this week
, and doctors have diagnosed him with a strain, Paul Kuharsky of paulkuharsky.com reports.

Hopkins is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Four weeks would give him a full week to prepare for the season opener, while six weeks would keep him out of the Bears game and potentially the Week 2 game against the Jets.

Hopkins led the team with 75 catches for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns last season.

I don't disagree with your assessment.. I am thinking more along the lines of "Non-QB". These numbers can't continue..

Hall of Fame Game featured eight kickoffs, one touchback, a long return of 31 yards

The NFL’s new kickoff rules were put to the test for the first time Thursday night.

The Texans and Bears met in the Hall of Fame Game, with everyone watching the great kickoff experiment. One of the most entertaining Hall of Fame Games in memory ended because of inclement weather with 3:31 left in the third quarter. The Bears won 21-17.

The teams combined for eight kickoffs, with only one resulting in a touchback, though two other kickoffs reached the end zone and could have been downed for touchbacks. The receiving team takes over at its own 30-yard line after a touchback.

Of the seven kickoffs returned, the average starting position was the 25.6-yard line.

The longest return was a 31-yarder by Bears receiver John Jackson.

Each team had an illegal formation penalty, both of which were declined.

Texans punter Tommy Townsend held the ball on the tee for kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn to start the third quarter, with Townsend running off the field as soon as the ball was kicked.

It gave teams around the league a first look at what is supposed bring a dead play back to life, and it likely will be a work in progress for awhile as teams try to figure out what works and what doesn’t.
