Why trade up one spot here? Anyone they wanted would have been available at 2.01. They could have shopped for trade deals. I don't understand the motivation here.

 

Did they not think Legette would have been available one pick later? When you sit in the first spot on day 2, teams come to you with their best offers.

 

well I guessed Mitchell and thought it could be Leggette. So that's a miss but not a bad one. Got the position correct.
So this does not look good for WR in round 2, Holy shitballs the WR room is thinning out.
Next best OT is Patrick Paul Houston. Teams that did not go OT in round 1, look out. I'm thinking New England at 34.

I kind of got why they took Fantanu, he was actually 17 on my board. Mitchell was 10 spots higher then i had Arnold. Well I got the order right.

I hope so too, but with what? We entered this draft with more real needs than we usually have, but we have fewer picks to play with. We need to hit on every pick. What do you give up to move? Future picks? A player?

 

With WRs they either get paid after year three or they’re setting up for free agency. Not too many of those guys get the fifth year option. Feel they could’ve traded down and still got their guy. Or at worst stayed where they were. But that’s why I’m not a GM I guess lol

 

I can mention DeJean because he is one of those guys, who is a football player, doesn't have a real position Is he a slot, a Nickle, a FS, or a boundary ? I would say no to boundary I hope they take him.

I think the best chance of moving up in rd. 2 was to trade back in rd. 1. Once they stayed put in rd. 1 and made their selection, I think they pretty much locked themselves into staying at pick 51.
