Ok, prediction time… first time in a long time I didn’t do a personal mock draft or participate in any of the drafting games. My one and only prediction I will make is that JJ McCarthy will have the best mediocre career of this draft class. It’s very possible 6 QBs go in the first round, yet I don’t think any are going to end up Super Bowl winners or All Pros. That being said, McCarthy will do just enough to be a starter longer than the rest of his draft class.
I’m watching the Pat McAfee show on ESPN+ for the draft and I feel like it’s gonna be interesting and fun.
He’s hit or miss for me. Sometimes he’s spot on and other times he seems like he’s trying way too hard and becomes annoying.
Here they pay-walled his stuff like the Manning Casts have been the last season. I have all this sports stuff on cable but they hide it on a PLUS app only channel. I have access to their stuff through cable subscription via app but not the plus shit.
In all seriousness, why do the Bears have to take so much time on the clock? I’m getting old, I need to get to bed before 1:00 am
TSN went app with TSN Live and still have it but + crap is this new crap to get a product cable can't buy you into so you pay for their shit twice.
Networks want them to. They actually got angry at teams a year or two ago for going so quickly that they couldn't get all their stuff across slowly. The longer the show, especially with earlier picks, the longer they retain viewers for ads. Yes people will log off sooner but it's better than being done at a late shitty timeslot and enough will stick around to the end.
