And these aren't some small schools. ACC and one of the bigger group of 5 schools (who transferred from the ACC).
I almost made it back to back StT moments, but I think I'll save this guy for my first UDFA choice. Instead, since he's still on the board near the end of Round 7, Houston selects Justin Rogers, DT, Auburn No idea how I'd fit him on the roster. No idea how I'd even fit him through the doorway of the team facility, for that matter. But I'm not all that stoked about the run defenders that Houston has added via free agency, so I'm bringing in Jabba The 1-Tech to compete with them for their roster spots.
Here are the final results for the Browns and Buccaneers. Pretty pleased overall. Had a few times I’d have liked to trade up but either couldn’t work it out or didn’t have time. Lol Browns 2- Keon Coleman, WR, Florida St 4- Blake Fisher, OL, Notre Dame 4- MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC 5- Tanner McLachlan, TE, Arizona 6- James Williams, LB, Miami 7- Daequan Hardy, CB, Penn St 7- CJ Hanson, OL, Holy Cross Buccaneers 1- Cooper DeJean, DB, Iowa 2- Bo Nix, QB, Oregon 3- Christian Mahogany, OL, Boston College 3- Blake Corum, RB, Michigan 4- Malik Washington, WR, Virginia 6- AJ Barner, TE, Michigan 7- KT Leveston, OL, Kansas St
It was between Braelon Allen and Lloyd for me when I picked with the Jags but I went for the guy I think would best fill in for Bigsby behind Etienne as Bigsby is struggling. I was always going to go Bortolini and Crum for the Eagles but Fisher going sure made me sweat as he was my backup if either of them went.
Nice job! Overall, the main impression I get is that it's a pretty methodical approach of see need, fill need. I strongly considered MarShawn Lloyd for Atlanta in the first mock. I love the potential of feeding him screen passes. This time around you grabbed him ahead of me. I've been trying to add comments on some of the small school guys when I can, but I don't know anything at all about Holy Cross. Thanks for joining the draft, and I hope you can stick around the forums and join us again next year!
Payne is an interesting one. He wasn't even a starter, so it's not TOO surprising that he gets left off of lists. But he had an impressive rate of production for the snaps he played, so it's also not the least bit surprising that a team snapped him up.
A cover LB that transitioned from RB halfway through his college career. He has potential to develop into an actual NFL linebacker. He will start seeing the field on special teams or the practice squad but he is a player with an real opportunity to learn the position and vastly improve.

Interesting I would’ve figured he would’ve been there. I was thinking about taking a local guy I knew there would be zero shot of him being on the list just to ensure we had at least one STT but once the other one went off I decided to wait til UDFA for him.

My fav pick is Paul. Had I not traded with you there was a high chance I was taking him. I wanted to draft both Bortolini and Crum if they were there much later though so I passed at the chance and took the trade and took Elliss and Walker instead. The pick there was definitely going to be Elliss or Paul.
He was on my list for Houston's seventh rounders, but I got Olufwhatshisname instead when I left you my list for the 6th. So instead of Chambers earlier this round, I traded up and took Gabe Hall at the back end of round six.
