Washington Commanders 1.2 Jayden Daniels QB LSU At time of the pick I was 90% sure he was going to be the pick Thursday now it's dowwn to only being about 70% sure after Top Golf 1.16 Brain Thomas Jr WR LSU If Jayden was the Top pick needed to do something to Help him right away and what better way then get him his college team mate and a Tall Outside WR the Commanders lack in the High Upside Thomas. 1.25 Troy Fautanu OT Washington Fautanu fell too far with our need of a OT so moved up and got him and will give him the Chance to start at OT but if needed he can move inside to LG. 3.36 Ben Sinnott TE Kansas State My personal TE #2,Sinnot fit perfectly here in terms of Value and need, and and would see the playing field right away on Run plays before taking over full time at TE. 5.10 Jarrian Jones CB Florida State One of the top Nickel CBs in the draft to me a 4.3 speed cb that likes to find the ball will find a way onto Dan Quinn's field. 6.27 Layden Robinson iOL Texas A&M If not for a horrible Senior Bowl woulda likely been gone before now,Fix some bad habits and he could be the Starting LG in a year or 2.
Texans draft strategy doesn't take much explanation. They didn't have true holes to fill, so with them it was just a matter of upgrades. Seattle strategy is all about a complete overhaul of the offensive line. Why? Starting guard Damian Lewis is gone. Starting guard Phil Haynes is gone. Starting center Evan Brown is gone. Starting tackles Charles Cross and Abraham Lucas struggled last year in their second seasons, with injuries as a factor (both missed significant time). Swing tackle Stone Forsythe was horrid, giving up pressure on 11% of pass snaps played. The other guard and center returning from last year were fourth and fifth round rookies from last year's draft. And a year after they ended up stuck with 41-year old Jason Peters filling in at right tackle, they signed human turnstile Laken Tomlinson at guard. I consider that a cry for help. And they don't have a second round pick. Yikes... OL moves: drafted Jordan Morgan, Roger Rosengarten, traded for Chris Paul. Also acquired G/C Danny Pinter and prospects Jack Anderson (good but frequently hurt) and Wesley Church (competition at least). Real team signed Nick Harris (four career starts) and Tremayne Anchrum (one career start). It's going to be competition everywhere. Early projection would be Cross and Lucas as starting tackles, Morgan and Paul at guard, Harris at center, Rosengarten as swing tackle, Pinter as active interior backup, Anthony Bradford, Olu Oluwatani and Jack Anderson as depth if healthy, Anchrum if Anderson is hurt. For the defense, I drafted Chris Braswell at edge, Dadrion Taylor-Demerson at safety, and acquired Mykal Walker for the LB group. All three are immediate contributors though not necessarily starters. Also drafted QB3 Devin Leary and acquired two TEs to round out that group - one pure blocker who will double at FB and one fast receiver with great athleticism but who needs serious coaching help on route running.

Useless fun fact: 12 of the last 27 players selected have had first names starting with "T" or "J". That's 44.4% of picks in that span coming from only 7.7% of the alphabet.
