The funny thing about it was that the list of prospects originally wasn't even meant to be a "public" thing. Lyman's old spreadsheet was a step up from manually editing the first post of the message thread, but it was still a 100% manual process of typing in all the names and schools manually as they were drafted. You had to double and triple check the spellings of some of the longer names to make sure you typed everything in correctly. Slipping in a tab with a list of prospects was just meant to be a quick and dirty way to speed up the process of updating the board - cut and paste rather than looking up spellings and typing everything manually. It also helps to spot cases where someone takes a player who was already picked. But it was initially meant to be behind the scenes rather than something people actually looked at.
---------- The Indianapolis Colts select: Decamerion Richardson - CB - Mississippi St. He's built a little slight. But my man has athleticism that simply can't be taught. Also has experience playing all techniques at a decent level. Movement skills are bordering on elite. He can be a special teamer and our #5 while the coaching staff irons out some of the finer points of his technique. We've brought him in for a visit as well. @MaroonTyphoon otc again. Other team this time
I took one last look at him before taking Richardson. But the Colts actually interviewed Richardson, plus the edge he owns in athleticism made me lean that way. Quite conceivable that Carson will be drafted two rounds higher next week. Or not. NFL salivates over athleticism, maybe especially at the CB position. Time will tell I guess. Consensus rankings give Carson a pretty clear edge I believe.
