The Tennessee Titans select: Joe Alt, LT, Notre Dame Like I said in the other mock the team have signaled at every turn that this will be their move here.
Falcons here. I won't wait all night despite being able to. I have a pick in mind but will trade down if it isn't too far or the offer is good enough. I have had some PMs.
I did my realistic one draft, I wanted to power to draft Marvin Harrison Jr... and although they were both fun, I wanted to just go after a very aggressive draft with a realistic one in the bag.
Trading for a future 1st isn't "Fun" because it doesn't draft someone here but I moved into a comfortable range while getting that great of an asset while getting enough extra (the 4ths) to be able to make it worthwhile for the Jags to trade back up to 17 right away by giving a 4th of my own along with the 1st and 2nd this year from Buffalo.
But if we're adults about it, it actually is wise drafting strategy to use. As long as we don't take advantage and do totally uneven/unrealistic stuff. So far it's been goo, IMHO.
When I saw the two trades, my first thought was Baltimore in 2008, with the masterful way they traded down and then back up to grab Joe Flacco. Even better, you got a future first out of it. Fantastic job!
Hmmm Is there any way of making a future pick feel as good as a player ready for action right now? It's tough.
