In past, we normally just leave the time frames as is. It gives us a little sleep-in time on the weekends. Or just some breathing room as we all clock into work the next morning. Eventually we'll end up with a rough pause. All part of the business

Just off the top of my head. Flattering. But what about Kirk Cousins? Didn't have to carry the team at MSU. Can make all the throws, but not known as elite or mobile. Similar size? Less flattering? Sam Darnold?
I’ve seen comparisons of Jake Plummer memtioned which I feel is pretty accurate but I think you could look at Alex Smith as one that fits.

There's definitely been rumors. And this would absolutely be the reason. A.J. Brown/Tyreek Hill. There are precedents to this. I'm not sure I believe this one either. But crazier things have happened.
I believe the rules remain the same for getting an extension done. I assume whichever team trades for him, will have an extension ready to go.
I believe they could can renegotiate and they’d better if they’re giving up a 1st for him, but he’s going to want to be paid $$$. They could always make him play on this contract and then franchise him next year…
I believe the money is fully guaranteed as salary and not bonus so the new team pays. The option already committed to is locked and any extension is simply that.
