20. Talise Fuagua according to the Post Gazette's Ray Fittipaldo this is who the Steelers covet as far as a plug and play RT.
51. Tanor Bortolini He is a very athletic Center, Steelers love Wisconsin guys. I have him with a 4th round grade, maybe Shane can tell us his thiking here.

119. Beau Brade Safety Maryland. This is where I disagree, the next pick is Ruke Ohorhoro I would have gone there seeing how the DL needs youth. This may be Cam's last hurrah.
178. Cornelius Johnson WR Michigan. His production went down with Harbaugh running the ball so much. Sleeper pick, however Logan Lee went 179 and he just came in for a visit. I know Lee is very popular on this thread and I just took him in the Collaborative
195, Rashene Ali RB Marshall not a crazy idea, but man Zack Zinter went a handful of pick later and would be a steal, even with the broken leg here.

Hoping the guy who did this mock can stop by and give us some thoughts. We need fresh eyes, it's one of the reasons I post on Depot now. I need different perspectives and me just dominating this thread is not my intention, it just happens because I am a fucking Psychopath, and I hope it's not true but posters may actually like Kiper and don't want to get into arguments. update on Collabatorive draft. I took Logan Lee at 178,

 

so we got pick 195 coming up.

There is a DT just sitting there but I already took 2, so he won't be my pick. I think Gidion knows where I am going so let's just let the cards fall and see if he's there. Then I can take a break, it really is a lot of work tracking, crossing off names. then seeing where your board or thoughts are going. Ideally would have loved McConkey at 51, just looked it up, some injuries, so things have a way of working out. I took compact 2 DB's who are solid tacklers, but can play nickel, since we have 3 CB;s who are taller in JPJ, Rush, Trice, I kind of shied away from Jackson and Hart. However if Q. Mitchell was there at 20 I was all in. Terion Arnold interviews well, I think he is going to be a realy solid pro, not sure about lock down CB, but he;ll be a starter at some point in 2024. The gush and rush for Mims seems to be quieting down, the betting sites don't even give odds on him, he is included with "other"

Austin Booker OLB Kentucky This is one of StlCrtns guys he is relentless and may need some NFL strength but he is clay you can mold
Keon Coleman WR FSU human highlight reel, size matters. He excels at Punt Returning.
Jalen Trice OLB Washington production, lots of QB hurries he is quicker than fast, his long speed won't run plays down but his job will be to get to the QB
Ennis Rakestraw CB Missouri a shade under 6' and ran a 4.51. But his press man on tape is what you want to watch
Darius Robinson DL Missouri he racked up 14.5 TFL and 8.5 sacks in the SEC, Fringe first rounder that didn't blaze the 40.
Ja;Tavion Sanders TE Texas his route running is already good, and has YAC potential look past the 4.79 40
Jerimiah Trotter Jr. ILB Clemson Yeah he's short, but he is also master of the pick 6 and sack, think of an amped up Vince Williams with coverage skills.
Bucky Irving RB Oregon ran a slow 40, didn't jump very well. But he has the vison and quickness to hit it and get it.,
Kamari Lassiter CB Georgia he's a bump and run blanket, can also play the slot, really a competitor you want on your team. And by the way he can blitz too, did I mention he played for Georgia.
Tyler Nubin S Minnesota tested poorly, but he had 12 picks in 3 seasons playing Center Field. Since we have Minkah on the roster I doubt Pittsburgh drafts him, just giving you guys information.

 

Bortolini is a little spicy. You could swap Corley and Bortolini if you want, but I think Bortolini is a Round 2-3 guy, as is Corley.

DL probably does get addressed somewhere, a bit of my downfall there, but it wouldn't surprise me to see two picks in the secondary. The Steelers are looking at the CB class pretty heavily (I think Nate Wiggins is a legit first round target). Safety depth is in trouble. But, Logan Lee at 178 probably makes sense as the replacement for DL, not Beau Brade (who I believe the Steelers have interest in).

Holy crap Mel, Jalen McMillan, see post above for WR that have visited Pittsburgh, McMillan ain't one of them. What a clown. For someone who has done mocks for 46 years, he could at least track the visits and strong interest. Not to mention McMillan was injured in 2023. There are better WR without injuries who will be there at 51 who have a mid to late 2nd round grade. McMillan has a late day 2 grade on every major board, well except Mullet Heads. NFL.com gives him a grade of 5.97 average backup or special teamer.

What's the plan Omar? This is a great question. For me you need LB depth, obviously ILB is more important due to the roster depth, since Holcomb is a big question mark. But if Marcus Golden is not resigned, what are the options in the draft. Jaguars Josh Allen just signed a ridiculous contract as an Edge rusher so free agency is pushing the salary cap. . So here is a list of dudes that I think Pittsburgh can get on day 3 or as UDFA as pass rushers.

intersting athletic scores for ILB, BTW where is Jerimiah Trotter Jr. on this list.?This is definately not how I have them ranked. Some guys I have to knock, like Wilson for the injury history, etc.. Like I keep saying Steelers have not brought in one dude for a visit. I know they signed Patrick Queen but you still need 2 stud LB's to tackle and cover. . Maybe the Holcomb rehab is going good, not too sure. I think the consensus on here is to at least look at Cedric Gray and Edggerin Cooper. That dude out of Washington looks very athletic, but I remember I kept seeing Mark Bruener's kid making plays. He will be in next years draft.
