With that pick the Giants are done with no 6th or 7th round picks. I didn't love the way the second round played out for my team needs so a little trade back there worked out ok, but I walk away feeling like I did a pretty decent job of aligning value and need for today and the future. 1.6: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington 2.24: Ja'Tavion Sander, TE, Texas 3.6: Spencer Rattler, QB, South Carolina 4.5: Calen Bullock, S, USC 4.7: Christian Mahogany, OG, Boston College 5.5: MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC 5.24 Leonard Taylor II, DL, Miami
Patriots still have some interest in moving up from 180, let me know if anyone else is looking to move down in the next little bit.
Honestly this is not what I had envisioned when I drew it up in my head. But I chased where I saw value instead of trying to fill out a depth chart / needs. I made a few position based decisions but I didn't really step down a tier on my board to do so. And I entered the draft using a board with 100 players on it and never had to take anyone what wasn't on the original board which was cool.
