Hopefully not needed much this year. LB Jordan Magee = depth and special teams. Hopefully not needed at all on defense. round 6 = TBD
If I was in his shoes I would be fighting to be declared a FA but he seems more than happy to be going through the pre-draft process so more power to him.
Let a team use a resource on you. I think the whole point is that he was never actually ever eligible for the draft.
Sure but he also got hosed by a dumb NCAA ruling, never played a down of college football, and played in two other professional leagues since. If the stated point of the “three years out of high school” rule was to keep kids from losing their NCAA eligibility before they were ready for the pro game (it’s not but that’s a story for another day), I don’t see why he should be forced to abide by it when he’s objectively proven himself ready for the pro game and doesn’t have any eligibility to lose. I’m sure it’s the smart decision financially, and like I said I appreciate his eagerness to jump through all the pre-draft hoops. It would just bug the shit out of me personally lol.
No worries, I wasn't in any hurry, it was a curiosity question. You are no where near your slotted time.
With the 145th pick, The Denver Broncos select: Audric Estime, RB, Notre Dame Honestly, I don't know why this kid is still available. Combine 40 time be damned, he ran a 4.5 something a couple weeks later at the Pro Day. Besides, he is a kid that is a 3 down back. Might be one of the best pass protection guys in the draft.
