The realization I overlooked a guy on my board because waking up at 1 for work and making the pick is a bad combination.
Good Morning... Board updated. San Francsico @Campbell Buffalo @RTTRUTH New York Jets @neanderthal ike San Fransico @Campbell
@StlCrtn I bet your town may have a few visitors/strangers around today. Every hotel is booked here for the eclipse event. Rain moved through, clearing and 70 today is going to be ideal for all the viewers here.
If someone could shoot me a quick DM when it gets close to my turn, I would appreciate it, on the road with customers and then a softball game for kiddo so I am mentally going to be busy. If not, I will get skipped and remember tomorrow haha
Hotel rooms for $500+ a night (and mind you we do t have any fancy hotels). All are fully booked. It’ll be interesting how many people are out and about this morning.
Are you in Pittsburgh? If so, I can give you a comp... We stayed downtown PBurgh for the St Paddy's Day parade and it was booked up. We paid just over $300 per night. Here in the little Village of Monroeville, OH pop. 1,300 roughly... Our local police let us know that if we intended to stay open, there would be no emergency services available to us. We are right on a US 4 lane Highway, so the traffic is steady every day, but the towns before (West: 8,000, 6,300 and 16,000 people) and after (East: 17,000, this is the last town on this highway before the old version of the highway goes to 2 lanes) us are expecting 140,000 visitors and about 46,000 vehicles. I don't know where the police received this information, but the bottleneck at Norwalk could become impassible where we are located. If it gets too bad, I am closing our dealership early. We are going to have next to no customers today anyway as they are all closed. We have maybe 5 trucking companies, out of over 200 within a 20 mile radius that have stated they are going to be open today. Everyone else has their trucks out of the yard and either east or west running routes today, with their trucking yard closed. We have a Fairgrounds in Norwalk that sold tickets to park and camp. They are sold out. We have an amusement park that is 25 minutes north of us, Cedar Point, that sold tickets between $99-$199 and holds 55,000 people, they are sold out for the event. Right now at 7:26 Eastern time, the traffic looks like any other day.... I'll keep you posted.
This is a little early in the game for the 49ers to take a possible future starting QB, isn't it, lol.
Good symmetry in play for a back-up that can be serviceable/improving throughout the life of his rookie deal and possibly beyond.
Path of the eclipse sounds more like Erie. I know they are slammed with people, and are struggling to deal with the people and traffic its bringing
