Sorry. I was waffling, trying to get myself to go another way. But I think with Steichen as the big man now, using more of what worked in Philly, I can see 2025 being a trio of Jelani Woods, Will Mallory, and now Sinnott. Ben can be used a bit as an H-back too. Think he's got that Ballard/Indy grinder in him. All those little slot-type TE's can pound sand.
Fighting the urge to trade up with Indy now. Considered about 5 different positions with that pick. Some of it came down to I like option 2-3-4 at the other positions more than I do at TE. Buffalo meanwhile, just getting F'd. Somewhat their own doing. Foster was plan A for my next pick. Back to work...
This round is the opposite for me. Feels like I have the draft to myself - only QB taken this round, with only 2 others taken in the 65 picks since Penix went, and now the only RB taken so far in round 4 with only 2 going in round 3...
Great pick. htps://steelersdepot.com/2024/04/2024-draft-rb-prospects-relative-athletic-scores-ras-combine-edition/
I like RBs who can block and catch. There are a bunch of those available, so there isn't a sense of urgency for anyone to take any of them. Taking one now means I get my choice, and he's bigger than the other fast guys and faster than the other big guys. Cordarrelle Patterson has moved on, and I'm not so big on Avery Williams (returning from IR) as RB #3 anyway. Let him split out to WR and be a KR/PR along with Ray-Ray McCloud. Guerendo is a RB#3 who can have more of an immediate impact.
I hate this pick but only because I was hopeful he’d fall to the Panthers in the 5th, otherwise fantastic job.
