Local bar used to sell it by the giant glass back in the day. Place was more like a club than a bar so it was the go to for all the crazy drunk girls.
Those are good. Bit like Kronenberg Blanc. My favorite beer ever has been discontinued, which is sad. And shares enough with that particular beverage.
Yes. Then Molson and Coors merged and they started pushing Blue Moon but named it Belgian Moon until they changed it to the actual name but they did it at the expense of pushing out Rickard's White which was very popular but fadding out a bit.
Speaking of Kronenberg Blanc, very good but sometimes it's too much for me unlike Rickard's which I could always drink. Regular Kronenberg is one of my favs though. Nothing crazy special but it just tastes like a solid crisp beer with some actual taste.
Possibly. Closest comparable is either ShockTop or Belgian Moon(Blue moon?) I’m even starting to confuse those because both have existed. Think one was simply theCanadian and US branding of virtually the same product
Read one of my last posts. It was called Belgian Moon in Canada for marketing purposes but it's the same beer. They recently changed it to Blue moon. Shock Top is way more intense IMO. Blue Moon is fine but sometimes it just hits me wrong with the metallic taste. Blue Moon and Rickards being pretty close to each other is why Rickards was phased out.
Can’t wait for my first pick tomorrow. Oh what a theme , Matthew is going to snipe me and make it a triple play. Gee Neato
I've had Shock Top, and it's alright, but not something I run back to the distributor for. The wife likes to get Blue Moon on tap when we dine at a place that has it. It's a decent enough beer, IMO.
