We still have Dan Moore on the roster though.
Yeah not the greatest, but I still feel Center is more important.
I also think using Darnell Washington can help the Tackles as well.
Just can't get blown up in the middle

The problem with taking center in rd. 1 is he better be plug and play. One must look at player value when drafting. OT is a premium player, and to get a second OT on a rookie contract is smart. So in 3-4 years if one doesn't work out you draft another. The issue then becomes will Frazier be there at 51, which is about where he should be drafted. Give me a scenario where Buffalo moves up or Green Bay to 20 and we get more capital, then I would think that might be where you can draft JPJ and not really reach as badly. I read all the new mocks that come out, and the OT's fly off the board and there could be 7 gone by pick 28.

Tomlin went to 3 pro days. Georgia, Clemson, Alabama. So with this info, here is a mock saying yeah I can see that. I would throw in a Wisconsin guy too, since that is really where they hit home runs but the only guy I can project to The Steelers is Tanor Bortolini IOL.

Here is my all in Alabama, Georgia, Clemson mock draft.

    1. JC Latham OT Alabama
    2. Kamari Lassiter CB Georgia
    3. Sedrick Van Pran-Grainger OC Georgia
    3. Ruke Orhorhoro DL Clemson
    4. Tykee Smith S Georgia
    6. Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint WR Georgia
    6. WIll Shipley RB Clemson

Steelers briging in Fuagua,Travis Glover, and Xavier Legette for a visit today. I fell they would have to move up for Fuagua this dude is a fucking animal.

Here is some info on Travis Glover for those not familiar with him. Projected late round UFFA that Pittsburgh has shown an interest in.

Depot's round 4-7 big board. It;s just a guide. Some players and rounds I disagree with however. This guy puts TON of work into the draft.

    htps://steelersdepot.com/2024/03/2024-steelers-big-board-rounds-4-7-targets-by-grade/

There will be a follow up board by position, much easier to follow on draft day, since once they take OC or OT, then give the others on that list a huge discount or cross off.

Just read an article on Caleb Williams pro day workout. Mixed reviews, he looked relaxed and too scripted for my take. Will this be the bears next flop at QB. Maybe Omar can trade for him in 2026 for a box of hot pockets?

Drove for 11 hours today. Lotta NFL radio. Talking heads are convinced QBs are going 1-2-3-4 (Cards trade down). And 3 WRs gone in the Top 10. The only defensive player in the first 10 picks could be Turner. Add in the OT run and the value on the board when the Steelers are up could be CB.

That is a trend I am seeing too. At some point somebody will take Terrion Arnold or Q. Mitchell and start a run. JPJ might be BPA but like my post above I have to be thinking Alabama, Georgia, Clemson players are going to be highest on their board. Maybe Steelers get lucky and Penix goes in the teens. WR is also in play, Brian Thomas Jr. is a player the Steelers could use, led the nation in TD receptions 3 more than MHJ and he was WR2 behind Malik Nabors. .

I don't know who this "other" guy is for the draft, but he seems real popular in the consensus mock drafts for our Steelers. Definitely no clear cut favorite on who we might draft though.

can't say I'm happy to see this, he kind of worries me because of his size, plus the in depth write up states he's not really keen on blocking in the run game, didn't we just jettison someone who doesn't like to block? speed definitely is intriguing, but definitely not 1st round consideration and think he'll be gone in the 2nd

BTSC mock draft is silly, giving up a 1st for a guy with one year left on his contract. And then Blake Fisher at 51 I would draft a WR in the first two days to get a rookie contract. If anything I would trade back with Detroit or Green Bay and guarantee a Center. Seeing how they brought in a developmental LT from Georgia State, makes me think OT is not their first round target. Has to be WR, CB, or OC.

I like Watts late in the draft, not crazy about another fucking TE though. Can someone answer this for me, isn't Rodney Williams still under contract ? Maybe with Smith, he gets a target or two or DW for that matter. Dumbest move they made other than Kenny Mittens was Matt Fucking Canada. He had the imagination of a box of crayons with 2 colors.

    3. Malachi Corley WR W. Michigan
    3. Mike Saintristil NCB Michigan

    6. Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint WR Georgia
    6. Trevin Wallace LB Kentucky

    4 round mock from SI

I cannot argue Arnold at 20. But where is the Center taken. They take Legette at 51 no argument here, but at 84 McKinley Jackson DT. I like the player but Sedrick Van Pran Granger goes a few picks later. Onto pick 98 OT Kiran Amegadji Yale no big argument but if you ever wanted to fix the secondary, Mike Sainristil is still available. @ 119 Dylan McMahon OC NC state. he is rated UDFA, this is a stupid fucking pick.

Dylan McMahon Center North Carolina State | NFL Draft Profile & Scouting Report

The correct pick would be Blake Fisher OT Notre Dame. Note here Jaylon Ford and Trevin Wallace are sitting there.as is Khyree Jackson and a few other prospects.like but you have get an OT before the 6th round., It may upset us fans and draftnuts because of the Top shelf OT in round one. but only Mims was left standing. Arnold is considered CB1 on a lot of boards, he is CB2 on mine, I have Q. Mitchell as best CB in the draft.
