WTF??? Is anyone more excited about THIS, than if Joe Flacco were to re-sign? Flacco couldn't have been more expensive. I don't understand this at all.
Flacco is looking for a shot a starting gig. He won't get a shot in Cleveland and I'm pretty confident the Browns talked to him about it since he just absolutely lit it up last year for us.
Got it... I didn't realize that. I know he looked good for us down the stretch, but he isn't finding another full time starting gig, imho. More power to him if he can.
I missed this one yesterday- Browns' Za'Darius Smith: Re-signing with Cleveland Rotowire Mar 11, 2024 Smith is set to re-sign with the Browns on Wednesday on a two-year, $23.5 million deal that could be worth as much as $25 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Smith was traded to the Browns by the Vikings last May and went on to record 27 tackles, including 5.5 sacks, three passes defensed and one forced fumble in 2023. The veteran also played on 59 percent of the team's defensive snaps.
I would also think they signed Winston just due to the fact that if Deshaun has a crappy game to start, the fans won’t be shouting for Flacco to start.
You’re right, we’ll be calling for Winston to start. Does a “Winston” “Winston” chant sound better than “Flacco” “Flacco”?
If you've been looking for some updates from me there's a reason they're not out there, On March 10th my wife found me slumped down in the bathroom fully clothed and unresponsive. I have absolutely no recollections of being transported to the ER by an ambulance, being treated in the ER, or being admitted to the hospital where i spent the next eight days, At one point in time, i was one decision away from being placed on a ventilator via a trach tube. So far I've progressed to the point where I can maintain my blood oxygen levels by adjusting the flow of the home oxygen generator, administering breathing treatments and or medication.
They figure it out yet? Or are you just pounding liquor until your dizziness catches up with the rest of you?
So far I've progressed to the point where I can maintain my blood oxygen levels by adjusting the flow of the home oxygen generator, administering breathing treatments and or medication. Jezz Lyman sounds like you had a Heart Attack ? or a Lung collapsed....I'm glad you are recovering and I presume your Meds are Blood Thinners ? Take Care and Take it easy.
Just seen this Lyman, get well and rest easy... hoping and praying for the best for you (and your wife).
You can’t leave us now Lyman, I’m sure your Browns will win a SB if you live another 25 years. Get well so you can see it.
Oh no Lym. So sorry to hear this. I'm glad you are recovering. Do whatever the Docs tell you to do. We need you around here.
Damn Lym, I don’t know how and the fuck I missed this until now! Prayers sent your way my friend. Keep getting stronger and please send us updates.
Camp leg... they have 2-3 kickers in every year. Special teams is how some of these players make it, but you don't want your starting kicker kicking that many balls a day/week. Same as camp arms, we won't keep 4 QBs, but we will most likely have 4-5 in camp depending on if Watson can throw yet. Besides... He had one of the strongest legs in the league. If he could figure out Cleveland Stadium, he would still have a job. He was well above average outside of our home stadium... And EVERY kicker that comes into Cleveland has their worst career numbers... so.... Edit: Just looked it up again, away he was 14-16 88%, Home he was 10-16 63%
