The Titans lost free agent cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting to the Cardinals earlier Monday. They have found a replacement.

Tennessee agreed to terms with free agent cornerback Chidobe Awuzie on a three-year deal, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

The Cowboys made Awuzie a second-round pick in 2017, and he spent his first four seasons in Dallas. He signed with the Bengals as a free agent in 2021.

He played 15 games with 10 starts last season and totaled 57 tackles, six passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

The Titans still need to find another starting-caliber cornerback to go with Awuzie and Roger McCreary at the position. Kristian Fulton is expected to follow Murphy-Bunting in leaving via free agency.

Kenneth Murray headed to Tennessee on a two-year deal

Linebacker Kenneth Murray has found a new home.

The former first-round pick of the Chargers has agreed to a two-year, $18 million contract with the Titans, he announced on Instagram.

The Titans needed linebacker help after losing Azeez Al-Shaair, their leading tackler in 2023, to the Texans on Monday.

Murray, 25, started 53 games in his four seasons with the Chargers after they made him the 23rd overall pick in 2020. He has 321 tackles, five sacks, two interceptions, 10 passes defensed and a forced fumble in his career.

    Murray’s 107 tackles in 15 games in 2023 were a career high.

The Titans also agreed to terms with running back Tony Pollard, center Lloyd Cushenberry and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie on the first day of the free agency negotiating window.

Jones and Chandler in the backfield kinda makes it seem like the Vikings have a backfield now.

The Falcons are adding a weapon for their new quarterback, Kirk Cousins.

According to multiple reports, Atlanta has agreed to a three-year deal with former Bears receiver Darnell Mooney.

Initial reports indicate the contract is worth $39 million with $26 million fully guaranteed.

A fifth-round pick in the 2020 draft, Mooney just completed his rookie contract with Chicago. In 2021, Mooney caught 81 passes for 1,055 yards with four touchdowns. But in the last two seasons combined, Mooney recorded just 71 receptions for 907 yards.

In 2023, Mooney had 31 catches for 414 yards with one touchdown in 15 games.

Now Mooney will join Cousins, running back Bijan Robinson, receiver Drake London, and tight end Kyle Pitts for what should be a strong offensive attack in Atlanta.

Mooney was No. 83 on PFT’s list of top 100 free agents.

Will someone please take the time to explain to me in layman's terms how the NFL decides compensation? $13M / year for this guy... compared to Derrick Henry/Tony Pollard/Deandre Swift at $8M / year. How is Darnell Mooney production worth $5M more per season than these other three?

Derrick Henry is headed to Baltimore.

According to multiple reports, Henry has agreed to a two-year deal with the Ravens.

Henry, 30, confirmed the news by posting on social media, “Flock Nation I swea it’s up !”

Initial reports note Henry’s contract is for $16 million over two years with a maximum value of $20 million. Henry is set to make $9 million guaranteed in 2024.

The Ravens have long been linked to Henry, so it’s no surprise that he’s landed in Baltimore.

Henry’s numbers were down in 2023, but he still led the league with 280 carries. He finished with 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns along with 28 receptions for 214 yards.

In 2022, Henry finished with 1,538 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Henry’s best season was in 2020, when he rushed for 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns to lead the league in both categories. He finished No. 5 all-time in single-season rushing yards, behind Eric Dickerson (2,105 in 1984), Adrian Peterson (2,097 in 2012), Jamal Lewis (2,066 in 2003), and Barry Sanders (2,053 in 1997).

A second-round pick in 2016, Henry has rushed for 9,502 yards with 90 touchdowns in 119 games. He’s also caught 155 passes for 1,458 yards with three TDs.

Henry was No. 27 on PFT’s list of top 100 free agents.

Why is Tyreke Hill paid more than double what the top RB gets? Derrick Henry on the Chiefs would be unstoppable.

Because Tyreek Hill is a man among boys. It doesn't matter who is QB or what your offensive line looks like, Hill transforms your offense... That one I get.

Patrick Queen plans to sign with Steelers

Patrick Queen doesn’t plan to be playing for the Ravens anymore, but he does plan to see them multiple times a year.

Queen told Marcus Spears of ESPN that he intends to sign with the Steelers once the new league year gets underway on Wednesday. Queen said he has agreed to a three-year deal that will pay him $41 million.

The Steelers are landing Queen on the heels of his most decorated NFL season. Queen was a second-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler after recording 133 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in the regular season. He had 13 more tackles in the postseason.

It was the fourth time in four NFL seasons that Queen took part in every game for the Ravens and continued durability is one of the things the Steelers will be looking for after plucking a key piece away from a divisional rival.
