Nate Wiggins pulled his groin and his day is done, said he felt it pop, and said he wasn’t happy with his run time, expected to run in the low 4.2’s, sucks, was looking forward to watching him during the skills test…

UPDATE: think it’s more of a hip flexor injury and thinks he’ll be ready for Clemson’s pro day

Kalen King who was originally predicted 1st then second round, might fall further with his pedestrian 4.6 times

Wiggins may have character issues stay tuned. Best interview for Cb’s by a mile was Terron Arnold. Khyree Jackson came in a shade under 6-4, ran a 4.50 flat . Notre Dame Cam Hart CB very smooooth in drills he’s 6-3

Yes and Mitchell tackles well . Top 15 pick could be there at 20. But Historically Steelers don’t draft out of the Power 5 in the first few rounds.

From what I read, he had the slowest time among DBs, but perform pretty well in the drills.

Wiggins 173 lbs off my board l. TJ Tampa smaller than expected didn’t do drills . Scouting report says rd 3 to me. Like what I saw from sanristil, Melton . I have Arnold, Mitchell as 1-:2 can’t wait for the OL guys.

Mixed feelings on DL. Rororo seems to be the best fit along with Maason Smith. All the others i
Liked have short arms , not a athletic, slow, or light in the pants (Lee. Fiske, Robinson) I’m bummed it’s not a good class. What they did in 2009 was stupid they drafted Ziggy Hood who didn’t check enough boxes and was drafted for need. He was a DT3 and played out of position.

Guerendo from Louisville just smoked the run at 6’ 221#’s, curious to see him in drills and some film
    4.33
    1.55 10yrd
    41.5 vertical
    10-9 broad

Know we’re not looking, but nice numbers

I really liked Fisk, same as you, worried about his arm length….
Not a fan of drafting for need unless it correlates to being in the same range with BPA….
it seems like this is a pretty loaded draft in a bunch of positions on the OL, WR, and DB’s. Be nice to get 2 starting OL and a DB, sucks because I’d really like a MLB, but not sure how it’s going to play out

in regards to Wiggins, the film I’ve seen so far on him, even though he’s light, he’s not afraid to get in there and mix it up
A DB I’d like to get more info on is Kool-Aid…. I know some soured a little on him this year because they say Arnold out played him, but I’m curious how long he was playing with the Jones fracture and how that impacted his play this season, because even not playing up to his expected level, he still was pretty damn good. Everyone was saying how King outplayed JPJ last year and how’d that play out for king this year and where he’s now projected to go.

Xavier Worthy just set record for fastest 40 ever at 4.21, and that was his second run…. Wish he would have done the drills too

Apparently the Steelers talked to Rome Odunze, not sure why, don’t see him falling to a range where we might be able to select him, and definitely don’t seeing the Steelers trading up for him, definitely have way more pressing needs than trading up for a wide receiver, especially with all the talent available

at 20 I wouldn’t hate LSU WR Brian Thomas 6-3, 209 lbs. 4.33 looked good catching the ball in drills and the change of direction ones too.

Steelers have been lacking the services of Mike Hilton and he left a void at slot
CB. Mike Sainristil Michigan - smooth in drills quick twitch he might be what they have been missing.

Mitchell put up 20 reps on the bench, he is checking a ton of boxes.
    Agree to disagaree with anyone still in the WIggins camp, he has dropped way down on my board, maybe off. at 173 lbs. and Zierline had this to say;
    • Awareness and effort was disappointing in run support.

And some great news. Cowboys are screwed, to put it bluntly. They dafted Mazi Smith, and they still could not stop the run. Now Dak I suck in the playoffs Prescott is going to want or get 60M and make a big hit to their cap. Add into that their all pro LT Tyron Smith is leaving via free agency. Good, cannot stand Jones, either of them.

So Mr. Clean of the dysfunctional Jets arrived 3 days late to the combine, once the Defensive guys were done. Someone explain this to me, because I think that is a boneheaded call. I see all kinds of Steelers coaches and scouts littered throughout Lucas Oil Stadium talking to lots of players. If you like a WR and he gets drafted before you pick, well you have a file on him and a relationship you know the young man. Then his contract is up in 4 years, and well you got a chance to sign him in free agency. Plan for the future, and also, nobody can predict how the draft will unfold. Who thought Darnell Washington would be there end of the 3rd, or Herbig would last? How many QB's are going before 20th, 3 or 5. Will the run be on OL, WR, Edge, or CB?? Stack your board for what ifs. And even if the Jets have a good defense, will Aaron Rodgers hold up, what if Sauce gets injured, how is your depth? This is why the Jets are the Jets. You cannot tell me with all their picks no Defensive players will be selected. Now they are locked into OT at pick 10. You know what I hope someone trades with the Bears, jumps their ass like last year and grabs Fashanu. Can't wait to see their war room look shell shocked again.
