That one play could have changed the whole complexity of the NC game. And again, injuries, age, they are factors. I like two options is this draft. day 3. Jordan Travis he's got some Tua in him, let him heal up, he has that "it" factor kid is a playmaker. Then Milton in the 6th who has a cannon of an arm, who needs coaching I think the team rides with KP and Mason gets Trubisky's checks. and Pittsburgh puts players around them with innovation. If after upgrading the OL in free agency and the draft, getting a new OC with fresh ideas, KP still falls flat, I have a feeling he might (beach applauds), then you know what you have got to do, get more talent in the QB room. Could it be 2026, that would be something, especially since the draft will be held in Pittsburgh.

What about Logan Lee DE Iowa to replace Heyward, until he retires he can be groomed under Cam, he’s been dominating the Shrine Bowl. Which is on tonight!!

 

Stock down:

Talise Fugua . Apparently not giving full effort to the whistle.

Caleb Williams: Character issues mainly maturity and team first mentality is concerning

 

He’s on my radar . Hes a Steelers fan and has the measurables for a 5 technique. I think Bradon FIske is an even more likely candidate.

 

Do you see 3 WRs in the top 5? Harrison is amazing but, at two? I can't see the Chargers taking one with the D so bad.

I see two in the top 6.. It's going to be sorted out between Odunze and Nabors., The same for Alt vs. Fashanu, that needs to be sorted out. The DL flashing at the Senior Bowl practices is the big dude out of Texas, T'Vondre Sweat. He's eating up blockers and reeking havoc like Bodanski.

Daniel Jerimiah is very high on Toledo's Quinyon Mitchell. I have mentioned him on here, he's holding his own vs. Power 5 conference guys.... and then some. There's a WR out of Louisville, Jamari Thrash, really turning heads, along with WKU's Malichi Corley . Given the value of the day 3 WR group, there are 10 guys rated from 67-117 and The Steelers have two 4th rounders. Hard to do a mock right now, but I'm going to give it a shot. It's speculative because we still have the combine and Free Agency. Plus every single 1st round pick Tomlin has attended their pro day. Names I think are getting buzz are Jackson Powers Johnson who is really rocketing up boards, he may go in round 1. Braden Fiske, he is just relentless, reminds me of Maxx Crosby. I got a wild card in here, Notre Dame LB J.D. Bertran very possible he is there in round 6. Speed Instincts and nose for the ball, Lead Notre Dame in tackles for the last 3 years. If he runs a good 40 he may move up considerably. Darius Robinson DE Missouri is not an exact fit for the DL scheme, but man this guy is tearing it up in Mobile. He is what they were hoping to get out of DeMarvin Leal

here is my mock for what I am guessing. I think Kahn and Weidl are going to draft 2 OL and 1 DL, a CB too but not first round Wiggins or Mitchell types.

I still like the Punter out of Iowa, Tory Taylor projected 5th round, we don't have a 5th round pick. the DL out of Iowa Logan Lee may go Undrafted and I bet dollars to cop donuts he would sign with Pittsburgh. Braswell is tough, considered and edge guy on many boards ranked as high as 30 on draftbuzz. I went with Colson instead, ranked higher on DJ's top 50 but just changed back to Colson. Wilson has an injury history I do not like. Colson has range, size, and I think could be used in the middle as a James Farrior type: Jack of all trades, master of violence.

 

anyhoo, I changed that mock like 7 times, it is not easy.

and here is a good starting point for any board, former NFL guy who I respect. I am curious to see who Pat Kirwin likes at the Senior Bowl, he was enamored with Jack Campbell last year, and he was spot on. But he is on Sirius Radio Moving the Chains I cannot always tune in.

I know we have some Michigan fans on here, but man if you read up on Zak Zinter you don;t like what you read in pass pro, and that broken leg/medical will push him down boards. I do not see how he gets a round 3 grade. Being an internet GM, who stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, I am drafting Cooper Beebe and it might be to a team who is drafting in the 50's to jump the teams like KC, SF, Detroit and Baltimore who are stock piling talent. Possible landing spots are Miami, Cleveland, Dallas. Here is the needs chart from NFL Mock Draft Database.
