I know I say this every year. But how do you people live like that. Here? Clear blue skies and 58 degrees.
They put out the word on the news and you show up with a shovel. We got a card with the time on in and you gave it back when you're done. It was $18/hr.
I was born and raised in Sacramento. I know its nice out there, but when your a kid and your folks load up the 61 Ford Falcon toeing a U-Hall, you best be on-board.
Thats cool. Ive never been in an NFL stadium, must have been exciting. One of these days Id love to, but NOT with a shovel in hand (might spill me beer).
A.J. Brown ruled out for Monday night vs. Buccaneers The Eagles will be without their No. 1 receiver when they open the playoffs against the Buccaneers on Monday night. Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will miss the game because of a sprained knee, according to multiple reports. Brown led the Eagles with 106 catches, 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns and played all 17 games during the regular season, but he suffered the knee injury in the regular-season finale and won’t be able to go on Monday night. The Eagles remain optimistic that Brown will be able to return to the divisional round, if the Eagles can beat the Bucs without Brown. Brown had a huge game in the Eagles’ regular-season win over the Bucs, catching nine passes for 131 yards. The Eagles will ask DeVonta Smith and the other receivers to step up in Brown’s absence in a win-or-go-home wild card game.
When it's bright blue skies it can be cold as fuc*k like 3 degrees above 0 windchill makes feels like it 14 below these owners better pay more than just $20 I remember the heavy ass snow and how my back ached
The Chiefs have looked shaky at times during the 2023 season, but their playoff debut was as good a performance as they’ve had all season. Patrick Mahomes threw a touchdown pass, Isiah Pacheco ran for another and the Chiefs defense joined the weather to make life miserable for the Dolphins offense. The result was a 26-7 win that moves the Chiefs into the divisional round of the playoffs for the sixth straight season. If the Bills beat the Steelers on Monday, the Chiefs will play the first road playoff game of Mahomes’ career next week. If the Steelers win, the Chiefs will host the Texans at Arrowhead Stadium.
I know some people are going to want to take cracks at Flacco over yesterday's performance, but the inability of the Browns to do anything on the ground of significance forced them to be one dimensional in the second half. Coach Ryans simply recognized it and put his defense in position to capitalize. The Jaguars, Colts and Titans better get their shit together quickly, or else Houston is going to rule the roost for the next decade...
The Browns defense kept taking swings and missing, while the offense couldn't compensate for Joe Flacco being... well, over the hill. It was a Schwartz defense through and through - taking big risks, not having good enough communication, and allowing back breaking scores. The Texans are going to be punching above their weight after this week, but we'll see how they do.
Yeah, every time the defense gave up a big shot, they put the game more and more in an aged Joe's hands. Rough, getting down that early, not being able to run the ball, and then watching it spiral.
I dunno man, if it weren't for Joe coming up with big plays on two separate drives in the first half, you could easily make the argument that the Browns take a worse beating. The two returned INTs in the second half were ultimately the defining plays, but the ground game was rendered meaningless, so it was either going to be Joe with heroics through 4 quarters or Cleveland just giving the ball back repeatedly in that second half. Hell, at one point in the 4th, it was Joe scrambling for 7 or 8 yards to get a first down while everything else on offense looked like it was giving up around him. I think they were down by maybe 4 TDs at that point and he was still trying to make shit happen. Giving up the two quick scores after the Browns took the lead twice exemplifies this statement.
If Mahomes decided to take that helmet home and sell it, What could he get for. it? But I'm sure the NFL has it to take a good long look.
