I bid $5,350 And tbh, I knew it wouldn’t be enough. I’m still feeling this league out. Possibly you could bid it all? It all comes off the books after 1 season anyways, right?
Raiders running back Josh Jacobs said last week after rushing for only 48 yards on 19 carries that he had rust to knock off. It went from bad to worse Sunday. Jacobs made NFL history, becoming the first reigning NFL rushing champion since the 1970 merger to finish a game with negative rushing yards. Im feeling a tad stupid for drafting him or maybe its my fault he stinks so far... I dont know.
Big early matchup between Silver&Black and the Wolves this weekend. Going to keep an eye on that one.
ITC today released James Robinson and Rashaad Penny. They’ve both been on taxi for 30+ so if I understand correctly, no cap penalty. That correct @Campbell ?
ITC today released LB Nicholas Morrow. As he was on taxi for 30+, they decline to honor his starter bonus
I'm basically waiting for Zay Flowers to not get a long-term injury to decide on who to sign and for how long lol.
@Campbell There seems to be an impossibility in the rules. "The owner options will be to either agree to the increase or cut/trade the player within the window of forced renegotiations. This window will open 3 weeks after the final whistle of our league championship and will close one week after. If traded, the new owner must assume the renegotiated contract". That would be Feb 2nd on the calendar "All league business on FleaFlicker is now closed until February 13th. Owners can begin negotiating trades prior but nothing can be finalized until the official league open."
All forced negotiated contracts that are not taken on by owners have to be posted up by the second giving owners the opportunity to post whether they are going to accept those contracts or they are going to put the player on the market. Trades involving forced renegotiated contracts can be negotiated, solidified and passed onto the commissioner for approval. Trades can be completed on FF right now, but the ability for open trading not involving players that are part of the current processes of extending, tagging and forced renegotiation are ceased until this phase of the offseason is completed. Basically, the only trading that can be done at this moment is the trading that involves forced renegotiation or if a player on a franchise tag gets an offer from another team that the original owner does not match.
No. Not until this phase has completed. Extended players will not be eligible for trade until the 14th. That's when the rosters become regular again with players that have not been retained being removed from rosters. Only tagged and forced renegotiated players can be traded during this window.
I didn't mean extended guys. I meant trade a guy so the new team could use an extension on him. But I guess that is a no.
Correct. Technically, no player with a 'zero' for years left is a part of their current roster. Owners are given an opportunity to resign a limited number of players, but they do not have the right to deal that player because he is not under contract.
