Chiefs could easily run the table, maybe the Bengals can trip them up tho. After this past couple weekends, just about anything is possible.
Dallas is in today, but if they play on the road or like they are now in Buffalo, they dont look to scary, but in Dallas, its a different story.
Things will actually be so much clearer after next week. It could still be very confusing and up in the air but the paths for many teams will become more clear.
Arthur Smith was not on the hot seat heading into the season, no matter what some of the media pundits spewed forth. Owner Arthur Blank was very much aware of the team's cap mess in 2021 and 2022 and treats the team's records in those seasons as accomplishments by his coach. But after the last two weeks, that seat has to be feeling just a little warm. The NFC South was right there for the taking, and they blew it against Tampa and now Carolina - after throwing away late leads and losing against Minnesota and Arizona earlier. I'm sure the media will rip on Desmond Ridder once again. He's part of it for sure - it's his first true season as a starter, and he's going through his growing pains. But all in all, the so-called positionless offense is painfully predictable. Today the options were limited by the weather (hard rain for most of the game), but it has been an issue all season. I don't think Smith gets fired this offseason, but there might be a change at OC and other assistants on the offensive staff. And Smith will be on the hot seat next season.
Falcons are in a weird spot with the Saints vs Rams game on TNF. The Saints losing would allow ATL to lose to the Colts or Bears BUT if the Bucs win this week then Atlanta would essentially be eliminated. The Saints winning gives Atlanta the 3-way tiebreaker should Tampa win.
Bunch of steelers fans praying pickett comes back because they actually think hes the guy. Funny thing he was the 4th best starter in the north at the start of the season (behind Burrow, Jackson, Watson) and when he comes back he will still be the 4th best starter Jackson, Browning, Flacco and you could push him back to 7th if you want to push Burrow and Watson ahead of him.
They are (media). Coach Smith in todays presser left the door open for Heinicke next week after he said previously he didnt want to play musical chairs with the QB position. Smith said he was still considering what direction to go at quarterback for their Week 16 matchup with the Colts. Maybe nothing to it, but he sure didnt make a definitive statement on Ridder being the starter.
Eagles just plain dumb to waste time on a deep throw when they had time for a couple short ones to get in FG range to force OT. But what gets me is the NFL missing huge DPI that caused an INT. They call that and the Eagles likely close out the game. But nope they don't call that but they let Bradberry get a DPI call for a hand on the side that didn't affect a dropped ball by Seattle on 3rd down. Im starting to think the NFL just wants San Fran and Dallas to look good. They already proved they can't be trusted last year when they changed the conditions so a hobbled Mahomes couldn't get rushed on the edge. Eagles just aren't sexy. Everyone loves to hate them anytime they struggle and the NFL is angry about the push. Eagles played like shit regardless but that is a tough one to swallow. 3rd straight loss. Still haven't beaten Seattle under Carroll and we'll lose to him gain in the wildcard round now that we gave them the W they need to get in.
I'm bored so I'm gonna post another prediction without looking at possibilities. I don't remember some of the games I picked from last week but it doesn't matter as m opinion probably changed anyways.
Couldn't agree more, from an unbiased opinion who didn't care who won the game! I saw it in real time, then it was enhanced while they were replaying it to see if he had two feet down. If a game changing play occurs that needs replay, any foul that is committed while being reviewed should be enforced. That was BLATANT pass interference. The key is that it occurred before Love touched the ball for the pick.
The other thing about the INT that ended the game last night was that if Love didn’t fly into the leg of his teammate there’s no way he would have come down in bounds. The bump knocked his legs down so that he could get them in play. Both feet were going to land out of bounds.
