So we’ve got a double header Monday night. Which reminds me of my random opinion; Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are still the most over done duo calling games. Hate being reminded of their existence weekly when I tune in.

But, they point out one decent truth about the commentators. That’s that they are certainly not being muzzled by the league. Probably about half of the last two games I’ve heard them call Aikman has spent crucifying the league and moreso the refs for their execution of penalty enforcement. He’s beating that drum thoroughly

 

I would prefer a season of 2 Monday night games and zero Thursday (save for Thanksgiving)

 

I just went through every remaining game 1 by 1. This can wildly change with just one different result, especially in the NFC and with the Bills. So I don't expect this to stick but it's interesting.

 

And of course the Steelers are 9-8 lol.

 

The Bears winning out? lol

 

I know. It likely won't happen but they are looking better now that they are healthier. I got the Bears winning next week over the Browns for some inexplicable reason and then winner takes all vs the Packers at the end. Bears can also make it with a loss this week at 8-9 lol without many changes to what I have. For week 18, Colts vs Texans, Packers vs Bears and Falcons vs Saints are win and in while Bills must win in this scenario. Vikings have to only beat Green Bay. So I don't see it happening as everything is so precise but I didn't concoct it to get certain results. I just got a very improbable one.

 

For example if I have the Bears lose this week and the Saints win their last 2 instead of losing then Chicago can easily be the 7th with Minnesota or Green Bay at 6.

IMO. the Browns will kick the shit out of the Bears. Vikings take 1 from Detroit. And who the hell knows elsewise?

NFL has their wish in mediocracy.

 

Very good chance Detroit and Minnesota have a rematch the next week. Vikings seem the most likely to get the 6 seed.

 

The way games are going anyone but Carolina can win against anyone else.

 

Lord no wonder so many people hate Steelers fans just spent the last hour arguing with a guy who want to say Heath Miller is better than Kelce despite Kelce leading him in all stats yet playing less games but then wanted to say Ben is better than Mahomes because Ben's stats are all better. I stopped arguing once he insisted ben was better because by the time he was 27 he had 40000 yards and Mahomes doesnt even have 30k. Ben did not have 40 in fact he didn't even have 20k. He also wanted to say Santonio Holmes and ward are better than Tyreek Hill.


When I questioned where he found his stats after painting out he was wrong he couldn't be bothered to look where he got them

God how many of my fellow Steelers fans have such thick homer glasses on I guess all those still thinking Pickett is the man

Its my own fault i like to debate

It started when he listed Ben, Brown, and Bell and said name a better 3
I said Bradshaw, Swann, Harris they won rings not stats

He said cant be from the same team

So i hit him with Montana, Rice, Craig because they too won rings

Well he said they were 50 years ago

So i came back with
Mahomes, Hill, Kelce

Thats when it got really stupid and I gave up and walked away lol

 

I love people that get a logical answer and then change the parameters of the question.

That's when you say "my work is done here".

 

Jean that’s some really stupid stuff he argued with you. I’m a big homer but that guy has his head up his rear. Mahomes has as many SBs as Ben and still has time to try and catch Brady (doubtful) but still a possibility. Kelce is a better pass catching option than any Steelers TE ever was but isn’t a good blocker.
