Playing down to Patriots

Can Pittsburgh at least play like a 7 win team ? New England sucks they have no team speed, and their best player on offense is out, Ramonde Stevenson. Can Mason Cole hike the ball to Trubisky cleanly? Will little Heyward not drop passes? Can Trubisky throw to the right colored jersey? Will either ILB cover Hunter Henry? These are questions I have.

I share the same concerns. Still, if Trubisky has to come up to speed on a short week, this is the team I want him to face. They need to run the wheels off of Warren and Harris a d escape with a 10-6 win.

Trubisky has played in 67 games in the NFL and has a 70:45 touchdown to interception ratio. He's more than put it on tape. Pickett has played in 25 games and has a 13:13 touchdown to interception ratio. Do you know how inept you have to be as a QB to only be able to generate 13 TDs in 25 starts? And we're supposed to be upset that Mitch is on the field instead of Pickett?

This is a concern for the rest of the year. We have practice squad guys on the field.

Trubisky has been negative TD to INT with the Steelers. So he is worse

Pickett has been pretty lucky with DBs dropping very interceptable passes. And Trubisky is 6-7 TD-INT in 8 games. Not exactly throwing INTs left and right. Outside of the Baltimore game last season, he hasn’t been horrible. Honestly how worse would the team be if Trubisky was the starter? 5-7 maybe? Pickett has been pretty bad so far. Hopefully this time on the sidelines helps

Unfortunately odds are that the team won’t be looking to replace Pickett until after next season if it is the status quo next year. They’ll most likely give Pickett one more year before moving on

Medical and injury history will cause him to slide. Lets see if he can beat Texas and Alabama. Sorry folks Michigan is going to fold like an oragami Expo.

If he gets Tomlin to 9 wins next year he won't be replaced after next season either.

New England is famous for taking away your best weapon. However they cannot double "Muth and Johnson too. I am hoping Jalen Warren has a big night, he is the X factor.

Agreed. Im not sure, as I just got home, but Harris might go too. Old fashioned run game, mix in some play action, get the defense going... boom. Sounds easy, but you gotta execute and the Steelers have a lot to play for as the Patriots really dont.

    Good luck.

Harris is good to go. Warren and Harris makes for a decent backfield.
