It will be very INTERESTING with JJ coming back any deep shots to Addison and the Vikings having a mobile QB will it help there sorry azz run game....how will they look don't know good question
I think that Addison is going to be Dobbs' best friend, turning short gains into long ones. Just my guess, JJ's numbers might take a dip.
So far he looks like star in the making but this is the NFL I'm amazed he hasn't gotten hurt he don't look that big on TV
“Kirk Cousins is going to be healthy again,” O’Connell told reporters. “I know he’s going to be a free agent after this season, but Kirk knows how I feel about him and that will be something, you know, that hopefully will work itself out. . . . You guys know how I feel about Kirk. Kirk knows how I feel about Kirk. I think he was playing as well as anybody in the National Football League.”
KOC on Dobbs... "This immediate solution that we found provides us with a really quality player at a time when we were able to go out and get that player without potentially leaving the world of the future and the now. We were able to accomplish the goal of both, and I think help our football team."
KOÇ does say the right things its a wait and see game now who will step up Jaren Hall or Josh Dobbs, get healthy Capt Kirk but I wonder will you ever be the same no disrespect but the Vikings got to move on from you and find a franchise QB
I understand your point of view, Kirk is up there in age and can demand big bucks, but I hope the Vikings do this the right way and get the "franchiser QB" while Cousins is at the helm. No one that I can think of would be a better mentor than Kirk and if the Vikings have assets, draft capitol and a GM with balls, they might be able to do something in the next draft. Im thinking the next draft is laden with talent, even talent thats never been making head-lines, there is lots to do in Minnesotaville, hopefully Kwesi is up to the task. One thing for certain, he likes to trade.
We will see if Kwesi-Adofo-Mensah is a wheeler at the draft I still wonder should Vikings held on to Ezra Cleveland the Vikings still need some O-lineman hey with Jaren Hall or Josh Dobbs maybe the Vikings will find there run game
Justin Jefferson 'coming back sooner rather than later' Jefferson is eligible to play Nov. 12 when the Vikings host the Saints. Lost in the chaos caused by the Vikings trading for quarterback Josh Dobbs and sending left guard Ezra Cleveland to Jacksonville on Tuesday was a little line from Ian Rapoport on NFL Network when he uttered the words "Justin Jefferson coming back sooner rather than later." Rapoport didn't elaborate further, but it's a promising comment for a Vikings team that can use all the help it can get after losing Kirk Cousins to a torn Achilles. Jefferson has missed three games since suffering a strained hamstring on Oct. 8 and he has to miss one more game before he's eligible to return from injured reserve. It's unclear if he'll be back when the Vikings host the Saints on Nov. 12, but that game could also be the first start for Dobbs as a Viking. Rookie quarterback Jaren Hall has been confirmed the starter this Sunday for the Vikings-Falcons game in Atlanta, so if the Vikings feel Dobbs gives them the best chance to stay in the hunt then he could be debuting just as Jefferson returns to give him a full arsenal of weapons along with receivers Jordan Addison and K.J. Osborn, and tight end T.J. Hockenson. A week after Jefferson was injured ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that he could miss up to six weeks while also saying Jefferson “will have to ask himself whether a return this season is worth the risk of long-term injury if the Vikings have fallen out of the playoff race.” The Vikings have not fallen out of the playoff race, instead winning all three games without Jefferson to get back to .500 at 4-4. That's good for seventh in the NFC and the last spot in the playoff picture. The New Orleans game Nov. 12 carries even more weight because they're also 4-4. Minnesota has a better conference record and thus owns the tiebreaker, but that head-to-head result could be critical if both teams are fighting for a wild card spot later this season. Jefferson was dominant in the five games he played, racking up 36 catches for 571 yards and three touchdowns. Despite not playing in the last three games, he's still 14th in the NFL in receiving yards and his 14 receptions for 20+ yards is tied for fourth most in the league. SI
His deep passes were just awesome how high in the air they went but the ball mostly they fell right in there hands his accuracy was something else
Thats what I thought. Steelers defense up front in the trench is good, its that secondary thats getting burned consistently.
