Beach I agree to a point he is struggling, but Mitch the DItch threw the game away into triple coverage. Pickett has at least limited turnovers, Trubisky is a turnover machine. I say Fuck it, start Rudolf on Thursday.

 

That is what I read beach, it's a load of shit. Along with the offsides on the Field Goal attempt. Refs deserved a big fat F yesterday.

 

Mitch hasn't played in a year and was playing from behind. Yes, he forced a ball into coverage. He acknowledged it. I saw you weren't able to watch but if you get a chance check out the ball Pickett threw right to a DB in the 1st half but was dropped. Neither QB is the long term solution. But one guy was drafted in the 1st and is going to get every chance to prove himself - to the demise of our team. Every game is the same story. No ability to read post-snap, no pocket presence. It's brutal. And the constant 3-and-outs puts out defense on the field too long.

 

Diontae slips on the play but it's a typical Pickett 3rd down. Reads the defense pre-snap. Decides where he's going. Stares down the receiver. Never looks anywhere else. Zone coverage. DB has the flat. Basically runs the route for Diontae. Pick - 6 if he just catches the ball.

 

Rudolph has the same fatal flaw as Pickett. No pocket presence. Looks like he's scared shitless back there. The draft is a crap shoot I get it but you're an unrestricted free agent as a 27 year old QB with some starting experience and you get zero offers for two months it tells you what everyone else thinks of Rudolph. And he signed a vet minimum deal without a signing bonus. The structure of the vet minimum allows for a $152,500,000 signing bonus and still counts as vet minimum vs. the cap. He couldn't even negotiate that into the deal with another team.

You want to send a message to the team that the season is over - march Rudolph out there to start. They know what he brings to the table. And while on that subject the Steelers receivers are only going to back Pickett for so long. You saw the frustration from Diontae on the TD miss. He's a human being too. He has financial goals like anyone else. He doesn't want to read, "Diontae Johnson hasn't caught a TD pass since...". Right now he and Pickens are being good teammates. it isn't going to last. It's human nature.

No. He had a ball that was high on the 1st play of the game at mid-field. Would have been a good catch. Not a TD. He had two defenders with him.

 

Ah didnt get to see it but had seen some fans gripe he dropped a TD

 

The season was over when they kept Canada Jacksonville said after the game they knew the play before it was run . This is a recurring theme .

Kenny Pickett is a good QB, this team will make the playoffs and win some postseason games with Pickett as Quarterback

Who were the announcers beach? Hopefully not Ian Eagle and Charles Davis I like that pairing .

 

I can’t argue this, it’s a hard truth.

 

Honestly don't know. Really don't pay attention to them. But occasionally they are so dumb I can't help but hear them.

 

According to Steelers depot it was Ian Eagle and Charles Davis also said Evan Washburn.

 

That’s who I thought it was but I wasn’t sure enough to say it.

 

What we saw from Trubisky last Sunday is no different from what we've seen from him while in Chicago and beyond, he stinks, Pickett stinks. They dont have a good QB on the roster.

 

Pickett is still learning so there’s hope with him. Why Trubisky is still on the roster is unknown, because he has zero value on the field. Rudolph would be a better option than Trubisky.
