They can’t unless Trubisky gets injured and cannot return. While that may be preferable, the Steelers won’t risk that, especially with current field conditions, and the defense they’re playing against

Yep. Couldn’t overcome injuries, mistakes and questionable calls. Mostly the mistakes, because even if Minkah is in, that’s still a TD.

Not so sure about that, that safety took one of the worst angles I’ve seen in a while.

 

Yes but even if Minkah is in, that’s still likely Kazee over there. Not sure if it was Neal or Kazee that was over there, but regardless pretty sure Minkah would’ve started on the other side of the field. He’s fast, not that fast. However on the 2 point play, maybe he at least gets a hand on Ettiene.

 

That female ref made some really bad calls in the game. They need to fire her. Trubisky is garbage, we need to trade him for our seventh rd pick. Yes we would have to pay someone to take him.

 

Not sure about Rudolph. Has never shown any evidence in the regular season of being any better than what Trubisky showed today. And with it being a short week, they won’t consider anyone but Trubisky to start if KP can’t go.

Didn't see the game, replay shows DT landing on Pickett with his body. The refs are there to enforce rules, the rules are there to protect the QB. Class this missed.

 

Yeah that the 49ers rule, he is inactive and only an Emergency QB if both active players cannot continue.

 

You won't want to see the roughing flag they threw against Neal. He landed on Lawrence's legs and they called what they didn't call when Pickett was hurt.

 

p.s. Pickett is still not the answer which sucks. We are going to be treading water for a few years.

 

This has to be a TD. 10 out of 10 times. You don't get these open looks very often.





This isn't just happening in the red zone. It's happening on 1st and 10, 2nd and 5. It's HIGHLIGHTED in the end zone because the announcers call attention to such an important play. But even then their analysis is crap. They shouldn't be talking about players slipping. They should be highlighting that the ball was late. That was the overwhelming cause of that incompletion. The QB needs to be able to read the defense post-snap and get the ball out on time. Like this play...



p.s. Trubisky hasn't played in a year. Give him a week to practice and don't make him enter the game cold down two touchdowns because our 1st rounder has put up 3 points in 3 quarters.
