The Browns have one of the best Defenses in the league. They will fucking destroy this O-Line and probably whoever is playing QB behind them. I guess we're hoping for the other team not to turn up whoever it is cos there are zero teams left on the schedule that the Bears are better than.
Whatever record we need for Georgie and his old hag of a mother to feel maximum humiliation and shame is what I want. It is impossible for me to cheer for a Bears loss against our divisional rivals but at this point I'm going to in all other games.
I give it 48 hours. No team is dumb enough even to give up a 7th rounder for him and his attitude. He will be gone by COB Tuesday.
How does a single player on this roster have any respect for Flus? It's a players league and there should be a mutiny.
I know we probably have to move on from Fields aftet this season and with the picks we will have. You have to strike when you have the ammo to do it. But fuck I feel bad for that kid.
In the presser after the game Flus was asked when the decision to sit Claypool was made. Flus said it was a gameday decision. Justin Fields says the team was told last night. Flus says Claypool made the decision to stay home. The Bears PR just released a statement saying the team told him to stay home. Fire this lying fucking bum already.
I do too. And I never felt bad for Rex or Cutler when things were going horribly. Mitch, I sort of felt bad for but not to this extent.
Maybe there will be, but it will be a silent Trestman style mutiny. The players will just check out. Surely a player looks at this and says this game should've been unlosable. If we cant win this game then we just cant win.
Poles turning a 2nd rounder, essentially 1st rounder due to Miami's forfeit, into a 7th rounder or nothing. That's new levels of bust. Even if you draft a bust how often do they fail after less than a season of games? Impressive. I watched this game up until early 3rd quarter, when I passed out. I woke up to see the score tied, and the Bears on a 4th and 1 at the 20 or 30? And then they try for a hard count, stupid, but ok, and then totally blow it. And then the Broncos immediately have a huge downfield shot immediately into FG range and then Fields seals the game with a pick. I thought Justin played well in the first half, what happened in the second? Looks like it was mostly coaching deciding to turtle and no longer pass? My buddy said Fields looked ok 2nd half, outside of the strip fumble and per you guys seems like another bad play call. Is this rock bottom? Losing to the worst team in the league? Or will that come in a little over a month when we play the Panthers?
Justin played well all game. I can’t blame him for trying to get that pass off to Kmet. The LB wasn’t supposed to have a free run at him. Not kicking the FG in that spot is so fucking wrong. Even if you give up a game winning TD or it goes to OT give the team that opportunity. I mean there should be an investigation into tanking. Who the fuck does that?
IMO the decision not to take the FG was a pure reflection of no faith at all in the D. Going for it was the last thing on earth Eberflush wanted to do, but he felt there was no choice because the players and his scheme sucks, and he knows it. I didn't take you tanking comment totally seriously so this isn't aimed at you, but its worth saying there wasn't even an inkling of tanking yesterday. 1- These guys are all coaching for their jobs and they know it. 2- The evidence was right before our eyes. That team was coached scared from the last possession of the 1st half onwards. They were absolutely desperate for a W and were terrified of something bad happening. Which of course it did when you coach like that. No one will be tanking all season long. This isn't 2022 when there was massive latitude for that shit. Everones head is on the block now, including the GM.
