Bears vs Donkeys - Suck Fest Game Thread

I appreciate y'all watching the game so I didn't have to. They are who we thought they were.

 

I don't know. Just seems like that always happens at the worst time. Would be nice if just once in his Bears career he could lead a scoring drive to win the game in the 4th quarter.

 

Eberflus gets a full season at least, and Poles gets 3 more years to draft his own QB and see what happens. That's my expectation.

 

I think the pass was forced out early cos of the pressure. They were clearly showing blitz and no one called it out. But i dont give a F about that, this game was blown many times over by then.

You coulda had points at the end of the half and you started coaching scared.

 

To me this loss is 100% on Flus. Literally anyone else in the world playing the role of HC would've pulled out a win against this team.

 

All Kmet has to do is pick his head up.

 

Yes. Im gonna give a partial to Poles as well for that abomination of a Defense. But yes, that loss is entirely on Eberflush. He's so far out of his depth its not even funny.

 

Panthers and Bears are the only two winless teams. Not a totally lost Sunday.

 

It is a lost sunday for me. I need them off a winless season. It was right there today and the coaches fucked it up royally.

 

If we were losing but the defense was playing well I'd be willing to give Eberflus a pass. But his defense is trash. That's now 14 in a row and 25+ give up in every one of them.

Blame Fields if you want but nothing Kmet did at the end of that route made sense.

 

Wacthed it again and i agree. They're playing man, Kmet needed to keep running. Not saying its a completion, the DB was right there and it coulda been incomplete, but its not a game ending pick.

But I do blame Fields for not seeing that blitz pre snap. I don't know what hot route you check to on 3rd & 13, but guys ran 3 verticals with Kmet on a deep cross and no one was remotely open.

 

How bad was the fumble return for TD. I’ll watch game later. Running around at work all day. Only question I have.

 

Defender is on Fields before he can get out of PA

 

I’ve been trying to come up with a good nickname for Matt Eberflus to explain how bad of a coach he is but the best I’ve come up with is Eberfluke. I think I saw someone here call him Eberflush which might be the best so far.

 

LDE came straight off the edge unblocked. I believe they ran PA to the left with Fields booting out of it looking for a little pass to someone. Cos of the PA left Fields was completely unsighted, nothing a QB could do there other than maybe eating a huge sack.

Horrible playcall imo, all the more so cos the Broncos had gotten close to something like that numerous times and Fields had just got the ball away in time. It wasnt a surprise it finally happened.

 

Tell me a worse team than those Broncos remaining on the schedule. Just 1 name. Cos i cant see one and legit think they're going winless. Even the Panthers will beat this team.

 

If we beat anyone it's going to be an AFC team, Browns or Raiders. Both teams are obviously better than us, but I can see them crapping the bed bad enough. Plus in these types of seasons we only beat AFC teams.
