The Titans are going to transition from Derrick Henry to Tyjae Spears, and their ground game is going to continue to be a problem in the AFC.
I see Carr is lighting it up at home... bad QB day for half the League. We got QB's blowing themselves up, vets looking like rookies, its a big mess. Allen looks consistent tho.
It's fitting the Derrick Henry runs the rock for the same franchise that had Earl Campbell and Eddie George. You can still win football games with a grinding offense and suffocating defense. I'm not sure you can still win playoff football with it. Especially deep playoff football... But you can ruin a lot of opposition Sundays on the regular season.
Burrow is clearly playing through injury. There’s no way he’s this bad. It’s been a consistent thing from minute one of the regular season. The Colts are making every mistake you can make today. Take nothing from the Rams, they’re balling. But we’re helping, frequently. Dumb late hits, fumbles, communication issues. Richardson’s timing on passes needs to make progress throughout the year. Taylors return might help a lot. We’ll see how that comes together
Maybe, once the cycle of trying everything under the Sun completes itself, the NFL will land on the grinding, smashmouth, in your face football. 3 yards and a cloud of dust, lol. I suppose the best team on both sides of the ball is the 49ers at the moment. Well balanced with defense, running attack, adequate QB and receivers. Im jealous.
I’m having a rough fantasy day too ☹️ I forgot to check one lineup late Thursday, hence 32 points on my bench in NADL. Also in a TE-premium dynasty I have the good fortune to be playing against Cole Kmet today. That’s right, THE Cole Kmet. F-€k!!
Bottom 20 maybe. Easy now. I know they’re set up as easy reads, but he’s still seeing them. You’ll have to list 16 guys for me to convince me there’s that many better than him right now.
After I posted that comment, I thought of the Bills. Maybe not quite the defense the 49ers have, but they might be the premium team in the AFC. I like what Miami is doing, but they lack defense. Agree on Purdy, but I might rank him right at 16. If he goes down, the 49ers ship just might sink. Are we looking at the results of League wide parity? Or with 32 teams, the talent is thin? I dont know myself, but things seem a bit wacked.
It's not that difficult to come up with a solid 16 - Patrick Mahomes Joe Burrow Josh Allen Jalen Hurts Trevor Lawrence Lamar Jackson Justin Herbert Aaron Rodgers Jared Goff Kirk Cousins Kyler Murray Justin Fields DeShaun Watson Tua Tagovailoa Matt Stafford Dak Prescott
Bengals need to recognize their situation and shut Burrow down for the next two months. Improve your draft slotting, develop your players and protect your most important asset.
I like Purdy. I think he does a lot of good things in that offense, most importantly, he doesn't hurt them. But he definitely is in the bottom half of the league when it comes to arm talent. You can make an argument that he plays better football on Sundays than a lot of guys, but the arm argument is one that he doesn't win.
