watching ND vs. Ohio State. ND O line impressive so far, especially Alt and loved the way Rocco Spindler pulled, got into space and flattened a defender. Tough to watch as a fan, cannot stand Ryan Day, and never liked ND, even though they gave us The Bus. As soon as this dweeb announcer, Noah Eagle (kid looks like he got stuffed into gym lockers) hobs Alt's knob, the Ohio State DE blows past him forcing an errant throw. Pretty funny stuff.

 

Some serious talent out there tonight. Defenses are great.

Is that Dan Fouts at QB for ND?

 

LOL, funny stuff Willie. The thing about the ND starter is he has 51 starts under his belt. the Ohio State kid is green as the opposing teams uniforms. Jean-Baptist is having a game, an Ohio State transfer. He is reeking havoc like Bodanski (The Longest Yard reference) Saying ND has a plethora of running backs is an understatement. Love the physicality of Lathan Ransom, Steelers need a Safety upgrade to play with Fitzpatrick.

 

Ransom is having a great game. Some folks find these goose-egg games boring, not me, this is pretty good football so far.

Hartman is impressive. Buckeyes doing well to contain him.

 

Ohio State is bending not breaking. If they had an experienced QB would not be a goose egg fest. Giving ND credit, doubling up Harrison, and Morrison is playing well versus a top 5 pick when left on an island, minus the grab on the spectacular catch ruled Out of Bounds.

 

TE for Notre Dame, Mitchell Evans having himself a game.

TE factory like Penn State is a Linebacker factory. The CB that played opposite JPJ looked pretty good on Saturday. Forget Kool-Aid unless he gets injured or has a character flaw we don't know about.

He was one you talked about a lot before the draft.
Now there are rumors about the Steelers wanting to get Jonathan Taylor. What could we trade for him. Najee Harris and a second?

 

I honestly wouldn’t make that trade. Steelers would not be likely to give him a big money extension so you’d have to wonder about the effort. Honestly Najee is getting more hate than he deserves imo. He’s getting a couple big runs, but still gets hit in the backfield way too often. That’s probably 80% on the OL, 10% on play call and 10% on Najee for not just putting his shoulder down and running. I still believe in Najee, but definitely not picking up that 5th year option at this point.

All spilled milk now, but what would the Steelers look like now with Creed instead of Najee? I love Najee as a person, works hard and a genuinely good guy, but plug Creed Humphrey in place of Mason Cole and man this offensive line looks better. Especially once Jones gets out there, which I think will be at the bye week unless Moore suddenly transforms into an All-Pro by then.

 

Taylor would.look like crap behind this line as well I'm not sure even Barry Sanders would make this line look good.

worst mock I’ve seen in years. Kool-Aid not going top ten, hell not even round 1. Steelers taking an edge rusher at 24. I’m seriously thinking CB or DL in round 1 looking at BPA in this Debockle I’d go Cooper DeJean S Iowa quite honestly

 

After todays fiasco we’re looking at QB in the top 10 . Kenny can’t read a defense or scan the field. Tomlin’s assistants would be equipment managers on other teams. I’m not taking Nein Deion Jr. & Drake Maye will be gone. I’m not a Bo Nix guy.

Pickett was the best QB in a shitty class. The Steelers will never pick high enough to get one

Latest mocks out, a lot of Kool-Aid out there. As much as I like the draft I hope the Steelers are not drafting high enough to get a top shelf QB. This middle teens to middle twenties shit ain't working out too well either. Until they fire Matt "I am sucking the soul of of this organization" Canada, expect more of the same this season. If Pickett is not seeing the field, change the scheme so he can, that is coaching. His OL play is killing his progression, it's a domino effect. -end rant.

 

The problem is that it takes one and a half Canadian offenses to make an American offense. We can’t afford that exchange rate.
