When the NFL agreed to new TV contracts in 2021 they negoiated in 3 additional MNF doubleheaders per year.

There's one in week 14 this year.

 

I think it sucks unless you stagger the times further apart . And the split screen $hit has to go

 

Totally agree !!! Regardless of how you get your TV feed, I would bet you can choose to watch either ABC -or- ESPN. The assholes at ABC/ESPN decided you're going to watch what they broadcast - not what you choose to watch.

I had two TVs side by side because my wife wanted to watch both games. I rather just watch the Steelers game but I know she would ask me to flash back to the other game so I didn’t want to get pissed at her. So they shrink the Steelers down the Steelers game from my 70 inch screen to about a 32 inch box. But they weren’t doing that on the saints game just the Steelers game.
Stagger the games. I used to stagger home from the bar and believe that I could teach them how to stagger the games.

 

I can’t stand the Sunday games when my wife wants to watch the four screen games on Sunday Ticket. That is why I came two tv screens. Then she ask me to put two four screens on the tvs because they broadcast two different sets of four screens. Four games on one tv at a time is what I’m talking about.

 

I've read that having the times overlap is an experiment that the Disney/ABC/BSPN heads came up with. Might not be a permanent thing.

To me it's stupid because they're competing with themselves during the overlap.
