Just checking in to see how our first overall pick odds are looking. Pretty solid. If Poles goes back to back years with the worst record in the league, does he get fired? You would have to think that'd be grounds enough for just about any other team. Anyway, hit the reset button. You built from the back forward and wasted all of our time, while also wasting the only hope this team has had at a franchise QB in a while. You and Pace can sit next to each other in hell, for all I care.
The only team in recent memory where I remember this happened was the Browns when they went 0-16 and 1-15 in back to back years. And I'm pretty sure even they cleaned house after that.
Long way to go yet, but given we play the Cards late in the year who are ALSO going to be playing for last place, I'd think losing that game, if the season goes badly, would be the firable offense.
Cardinals and Giants playing each other today. At least one contender for the first overall pick will get a win in their books, today. Now we need Houston to learn how to play football. Yeah, I'm watching this in week two. That's how bad this team is.
Because Fields sucks and because the pass protection sucks, this really should be a run heavy offense no matter the score.
Nice completion, but there's been plenty of balls coming out without a tight spiral. The almost pick on the Claypool pass was another one. No spiral no zip.
I have a different complaint, it's still not being thrown with anticipation. Very much a "holy crap how open is he" and then throw.
