I really don't hate this mock, overall I don't see Brock Bowers going that late. Bo Nix will be over-drafted. I do like the direction of the Steelers pick, safety, but I think we go Bullard over DeJean. Just keep picking Georgia players, that's just a winning program loaded with talent. Another bunch of doubters, most early mocks have the Steelers picking in the mid teens. That is bulletin board material. If I did this mock I would have them in the Chargers slot, taking the Clemson LB Jerimiah Trotter.

 

Already in 2024 mode!!! Lol

I do agree though. I think Safety is going to be a top need, along with Center, I want to see how the team is seeing the ILB position right now, not sure if they’d just resign one of the 1 year contract guys.

Not sure if he lasts but you have to consider Kool-Aid MCKinstrey to play opposite JPJ.
Pipe dream of course. With ok S depth in 2024 once you get past Bullard it’s a crap fly shoot. With all the CB’s drafted early 2023 teams may prioritize WR or EDGE.

 

Unfortunately, Kool-Aid is probably going top-10

Colorado is looking really impressive today, I know it’s the first week for them but they’re trading scores with TCU. Deion’s son looks impressive today, over 400 yds passing and this Horn kid at wr is pretty good too, has good hands, speed, and can run the a full route tree.

 

Jimmy Horn He’s a good KR too has special teams value . 5-10 170’on the smaller dude

I think we need more youth on the DL, better SS, a better ILB, C, CB, and WR.

 

What do you think about Jer’zahn Newton from Illinois? It looks like he is very Athletic, blocked a kick against Penn st. So he plays special teams, looks like he can hold the edge against the run. He is only 6-2 but weighs 295 though a shorter DE than we usually have.

 

Mevis the K for Missouri just put a 61 yarder through the uprights for the W!! I’m thinking some competition for Tucker in the North.

 

I think Sedrick Van Pran needs to be a strong consideration as the Steelers #1 pick prospect in 24’.

A strong safety as well, someone who’s a strong tackler but is a playmaker as well.
