That's actually not what the lawsuit "proved".

The judge threw the case out and said fans don't have to watch or buy NFL merchandise if they don't like what happens. That was basically it.

The documents for that case are easily found online if you have the ability to read past headlines and think for yourself.

Yeah, I've been hearing it a lot. My biggest problem in accepting it is that I'm a huge proponent of the Occams razor mindset.

All those players with big egos currently and formerly playing never come out and say the fix is in. How can so many keep that secret. When the 1919 WS was fixed, the media found out while it was happening. There's too many Woodward and Bernstein type reporters that would kill for a story like this.

53 players on a roster times 32 team is 1696 men. Plus coaches. Plus injured players. Plus guys trying to find a team to sign with. Plus agents. Plus retired players and coaches. Team execs and league employees. Rough estimate....5000 people in on the fix. On the low side. The number would realistically be higher.

But you will remember those key plays, it is part of the "history" The holy-roller, the Thomas helmet missing moment, the Tuck rule play, just scratching the surface. Open your eyes, it is all there. In the Seattle/Steeler SB, the Seattle WR literally points at the defender to get down as he jumps over him to the end zone. lol

The funny thing is that now the NFL is running a commercial that insinuates that the games are rigged.

 

The press? The days of a free press ended decades ago. The press is dictated what to tell the public every day. Operation Mockingbird has been in full effect for a very long time. With that being said, it does not matter if he is a practice squad guy, or a training camp arm or body. Every one of them signs a contract and in that contract, you are bound by said contract. That keeps their business out of the public eyes. Think of it like Fight Club. First rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club.

As for the plays, it is in every game, if you pay attention. It is amazing how a team can be blowing out another team and then for a quarter or so, they become a completely trash team making every mistake in the book and let the other team back in. Each team gets to show off their talents but in the end, the team that was meant to win, will win that game.

The chiefs/lions is a good example of it. How many dropped passes were right in receivers hands with no one around them and simply dropped. These guys have been catching passes since they were 5, and oops it just goes right through hands. That defender is perfectly lined up for a form tackle and he just loses his feet and falls down before making said tackle. The amount of "blown" coverages in key situations allowing teams long gains or scores is ridiculous and it happens every single week.

As i said, you can believe what you wish, but always remember the NFL is huge business and business maximizes their profits, their position and milks their customers for everything they can. Govts use them to push agendas and narratives. They go hand in hand.

The Romans made good use of providing Bread and Circuses to keep the masses under control. It is still being used in this day and age.

Jerry Jones if you think the biggest Ego in the business would be okay year after year with the Cowboys not being scripted to win it then your elevator shaft is missing the elevator. Especially with the NFC teams that have won it since the cowboys last won.

Now about the NDAs stopping them from ruing their cushy lifestyle. Sports Illustrated as estimated 80 percent of retired NFL players go bankrupt within 3 years of retiring. If they don't have any cushy life style to lose they have no reason to stay quiet.

Then there is the fact every year we here about the disparity between minorities and head or coordinator positions. If the NFL is scripted what one of these disgruntled minorities have to loose by outing the NFL? The answer by the way is nothing they loose nothing by outing them.

I haven't even touched the fact that someone would eventually have to come forward because they wouldn't be able to hold the secret in any longer for whatever reason (guilty conscience, religious reasons, setting a better example for their kids ECT ect).

Sorry but there is no way a secret shared by that many people remains a secret.

 

And that 5K is just for one season. How many is it over a decade of this little secret? What does the draft have about 250 a year roughly? Plus the 5 people that get in from Canada? There's another 2,550.

Also to give a Bears example, remember how Martellus Bennett could never stfu about anything?
