He wasn’t upset, he just came to the realization that that’s why his exwife shows up at his parents house all the time.
In a lost/rebuilding season, we can take not only growth from our players, but quite a bit of joy in the Packers misery. Early Merry Christmas everyone; NFL Week 10 Power Rankings: Aaron Rodgers' Packers are done as they fall into bottom 5; Dolphins, Ravens rise
Losing to the Lions to get knocked out of the Playoffs when they controlled their own destiny. What a great Sunday.
Is there any sight sweeter in the world than Erin's disappointed/pissed off face after a crushing loss? Not today. Perfect Sunday!
I see a lot of people gushing over Jordan Love's preseason performances. Upon review, I see a guy who is a talented mover and thrower of the football, but I'm still not convinced I see a good decision maker / pro quarterback. That first game especially was rough in that department, and the second was filled with easily run plays. It is preseason, after all. I guess we'll find out more in week one. Here's to a year of improvement, and hopefully some more wins.
Went back and watched some of Love's third preseason game. Again, the natural throwing talent pops - he looks the part. But his decision making is still really rough, and while he had the opportunity for a few highlight plays, he didn't make them. This is not Aaron Rodgers, leading this offense. This is a guy that, unless he's got heavily scripted drives / plays, is going to give your defense opportunities to get off the field. Move him off his spot, make him read the defense, and you are more likely than not to make him look bad week one. Let's see how much this defense has improved. There are going to be plays to be made for the DB's.
Yeah. He can make some sick throws and a receivers room with Watson/Doubs/Reed is gonna make some splash plays. I see Love struggling to make the short throws and I see him pissing his pants at times in the face of pressure. He is surrounded by some good talent though and that's gonna help. But at the end of the day....fuck the Packers.
As well as not having to see Erin or witness the Collinsworth fellatio for the rest of the season, which is good news enough(!) There's the added bonus that because of this injury the Packers 1st round pick in 2024 for the trade has now been downgraded to a 2nd round pick. Haha, very nice. F the Packers.
