Are we allowed at the present time to claim a player from waivers? Or do we wait, Im a bit confused. I see the waivers process is going to be decided in 4 days (FF data), so can I make a claim now and let things pan out?

 

Oh, never-mind. I answered my own question by reading the rules. (i should try that more often)

How do we keep track of when a player was placed on Practice Squad? Im curious because I may have a player that if he remains on the Practice Squad/Taxi for the minimum of 30 days, I may cut him, so I looked around on FF for that data and came up with nothing. As I understand this, a player who reaches the 30-day minimum may be cut without a dead money Cap hit? And does this 30 day period start immediately when said player is placed on the Taxi now, or when the season starts?

 

I can go back through the activity tracker to confirm, but owners will need to track this and notify me when they want to cut a player to receive that discount.

If I only had two rookies after the draft but have since added another can I designate a third rookie as my courtesy two-year contract player?

 

All FA signings are automatically one year deals (not including the pre-draft FA open bid for the recently released).

No, it is not, so that is a mistake on my part.
