During the draft Truth called it a weird pick. I shook my head when he said that.

Well you’re all familiar with the fact I’m a scout in another life and I watch everyone myself? Just fun mostly. Always felt it helps me in dynasty.

Some guys I respect a lot mentioned him pre-draft as a great TE sleeper. So when I hit play I expected to like him. But he’s a lot closer to Josh Whyle imo than he is to Dallas Goedert. Just my honest take. Don’t think I even fulfilled my usual 3 game target. Think I watched two and thought I’ve seen enough. Let someone else take him. So yeah, the 2nd round seemed awfully rich for me.
Time will tell, as always. But I was out from jump on him

Yea I'm not super excited about him. But with second round draft capital, I'll take a shot on him in the late 8th. If he even makes the next round of cuts, he'll be a taxi squad guy. I don't expect much this year with Engram still there, but Pederson likes his TEs and the pick indicates to me a possibility that they don't want to pay Engram long term money, and he could be gone by next year opening the door for things to get a bit.....Strange.
