Chicago will be a good team for Connor to play with.....I thought Blue Jackets would win the Lottery and I'm glad Anaheim did not get him.........this is going to be a GREAT draft year.....TOP 6 prospects are very good Hockey Players.

 

Maple leafs just got screwed by the no goal call from Toronto... unbelievable

 

There was no whistle. They assumed there was one. Also, before that if you watch in two different angles, the puck seems like it has to be over the line under the pad because the leg from another angle is completely over the line at that point where the pick appears to be.

Good Eyes Joe..........that should have been a penalty......the ability to play the puck was restricted.

What blows my mind is the Jumbotron had a replay that definitely showed the puck under Bob's skate and he dragged it about 2" over the goal line. If the Jumbotron had that, then why didnt the situation room?

 

They said there was "intent" to whistle. I don't think they ever did though and just assumed that because the goalie got up that the play was over. Still, there was another angle that showed it in prior.

 

Good news is, if / when Florida loses, I'm not gonna whine about it on here.

Hurricanes have been the team I've been most afraid of for the last few years. They're built right. Gonna be a tough series. Here's to two more rounds of fun hockey.

Do you think the Maple Leafs pull a Florida and make some major moves this offseason? I thought Toronto brought in good additions this offseason, to make themselves more resilient for the postseason.

 

I couldn't tell you what they do. Decisions will be made by July 1st though if things change a ton, but Florida is who I'm going for after Edmonton.

 

Bob has been fun to watch. Ive noticed how he doesnt get rattled and stays calm and has limited his movements when blocking a shot. He's not flailing away, he's very fluid/smooth in his positioning and thats been one of the key factors, imo, with the Panthers... Bob is great just at the right time.

 

Im very surprised/disappointed in the Oilers efforts. How can a team with that kinda star firepower (McDavid, Draisaidl) be so inconsistent and inept? I know defensively they need help, skaters and goaltending, but with less than $6M in Cap space headed into next season, Ken Holland better be the 'good Ken Holland'. Changes are obvious and inevitable. I like Skinner in net over Jack Campbell, but they need help there in a big way.

Vegas is a good team and I like the effort they put up, not the stick work they showed, especially from Pietrangelo and Marchessault was terrific, but I still think they are lesser of a talented team that knew how to win in this situation.

I'm thinking player's like Bunting,Kerfoot,O'Reilly and Samsonov will not be Leafs come next season.

 

I agree with Will...........the Oilers departure is shocking....and they need Help in Goal.....it was their weakness.

 

I'm pretty sure Dallas will win tonight..........BUT this has been the year of Upsets.

Id give a kings ransom for a Tkachuk type in Detroit, that guy has been becoming a favorite of mine the past couple seasons, just love how he approaches the game, always attacking... gritty, tough and great hands and scoring savvy, he's does it all.

Bob is a freekin nightmare at the moment.
