I seen him pitch in my first ever game at Tigers stadium back around the mid to late 70's. It was a jaw-dropping thing to behold, I'll never forget those games in Detroit.
I saw him when he was on the Giants. I went to maybe ten baseball games mlb. I saw Nolan Ryan pitch twice. Fernando Valenzuela, Pete Rose get his forty something game hitting streak broken. And Blue all in Fulton County Stadium. The Braves lost most of those games except the one against Rose.
Jacklyn Zeman, the screen actor who portrayed Barbara “Bobbie” Spencer across more than 800 episodes of “General Hospital,” has died. She was 70 years old.
I seem to recall a story about how he pitched a game totally stoned on LSD. Does anyone else remember that?
