I know the puck was starting to get wonky but the change in spin at the top is way too abrupt. Angular momentum and redirected energy to make it spin a different direction and all that.

 

I've gotta respectfully disagree. I don't see anything abrupt about that change. I see a puck that's reaching its apex, and following natural laws of physics.

 

It's sure right near the apex. That isn't the argument. It wouldn't spin at 90 degrees differently instantly if it just reached the top and went down, even with a wobble.

I never really expected the Panthers to be competitive in a series, let alone make the playoffs, given the way this season went. So I'm not bothered about it. Just hope everyone comes out healthy.

 

Im pleased if the Canes eliminate the Islanders tonight and Im stoked that the Maple Leafs are handling the Bolts... hell of a win for them the other night. The Oilers have to beat the Kings, cant stand LA. Too much talent in Edmonton, they should do it.

If the Cats beat the Bears, that would be historical. Ive seen many Presidents trophy winners get eliminated in the first round, my Red Wings have done it before, but I was thinking this Bruins team was 'all-that' and defeat wouldnt happen, especially to an up and down team like the Panthers. FLA has been very sporadic this season, but to see them lite-up Vezina potential Ulmark is amazing. It aint over, but FLA has to be stoked it all boils down to 1 game.

Is it just me. or is there more cheap shots, hard hits, gathering of the clans, scrums and fights this season than in recent memory. It seems guys are willing to drop the gloves this season in the playoffs more readily than in the past.

EXCELLENT Coach.........and Gallant was HOSED and Thrown under bus by the Florida Panthers ....he took them to the Playoff's and....WHAM....FIRED.....(I wanted the Canucks to Hire him but they Hired Green).....And Gallant went to Las Vegas and took them to the FINAL of the Cup in their FIRST year.....that was very good coaching and a Very good GM (George Mcphee)....But now he is in New York and doing very well with the Rangers........I want the Devils to win tomorrow night because I have Vaneck (G) in my Fantasy League...........and he has played Terrible in the 1st RD.....he might not even play tomorrow night.

Years ago Don Cherry said the NHL should have a STOP sign on every player's Back of his Jersey (Hockey Sweater)....not a bad idea.....what I don't understand is.......Cale Makar (Avs) get SSP for a heavy hit on Jared McCann (Sea) and Eberle gets a 2 Minute Penalty for breaking Cogliano neck on an OBVIOUS Dirty Hit......WTF
