only if they mortgage the future and I hope they’re not willing to do this, kind of tired of this way of thinking.

They could trade two 7ths to move up into the 6th. I am with you Roc, Colbert was horrible at mortgaging our future on shit players end of his tenure. BTW the Caddy has a tarp on it and doesn't even need to be pulled out of the garage. So Quality not quantity. There was no need to go all bullshit with OL in this draft, they drafted THE ONE area of weakness, OT. Jones may not start, but he is a 21 year old kid who loves the game, The coach, and the Environment. Add in he has Pickens to be his friend to make correct decisions on living in Pittsburgh. I loved what Polamalu did, drove his older pickup for years and was smart with his money. I remember a story where Bettis had a 35,000 Rolex stolen at the Super Bowl. Jack Lambert commented, he was happy with his 15 dollar Timex when he played.

Steelers like drafting brothers and sons. Think they sign Shaka Heyward as an UDFA or pluck him in the 7th.

Not looking to be sunshine and lollipops, but this is one of the better drafts in recent memory.
We got so used to busts, we would say, "at least get the first round right".
Artie Burns. Jaevis Jones. Ziggy Hood. Even Devin Bush. How was his character not a red flag?
Either picks would get cut or FA would get them.
We were lucky to get one starter from each draft, which forced us to gamble in FA ourselves (who usually didn't last)

I see two starters drafted right off the bat.
And then I see development players, competition, and rotational.
I believe Jones and Joey will fulfill their rookie deals, and the men after that actually have a real chance to as well.
We need rookie contracts and production.
This has not always been the case lately.
Just too many fliers and high-celing gambles.
Also, this feels like a new era (obviously).
New QB. New GM. And more new faces than I can count.
I think Tomlin is getting more input now. He doesn't have Colbert over his shoulder.
It's only natural for the new guy to listen.
Thanks Kevin, but it was going downhill.
Thanks for helping get two Lombardis, but the music was over.
Canada is the fly in the ointment.
    That's where my pessimism lands.
And hey OC Matt....Omar Khan didn't hire you.
Your seat is hotter than my ass-gasket after eating hell's chicken wings.

Teams in full panic mode taking 7th round QB's in the middle rounds. They are all trying to find Tom Brady or Brock Purdy.

Omar put his stamp on FA.
Omar put his stamp on the draft.
    Now he's looking at coaches.

I feel he’s a poor man’s player from the cowboys there. Forgot his name. Coach Martin is going to start him as depth on the outside according to the press conference.

How about the safety from Oklahoma St? He still there? I like him as well.

Apologies for the break, just wiped out, and the weather is shitty and energy training.

Just as I came back on Mel is saying "here's a guy" five ten and a quarter. His schtick is just so repetitive.

Yup good choice there, need depth in the secondary. I would not be upset if they went S and CB with the last two picks.

There is an Ivy League LB that would excell on ST I think is still available. Lost track this 110 player gap is just fucikng annoying.
