Panthers draft is over unless they trade back in. Kinda hard to see that happening though.

    WoW

Atlanta doesn't have a pick anytime soon, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they cash in the rest of their chips to take one more guy in the 5th, especially if it's a WR.

The question is what WR prospect it would be.

Drinking game, every time they say "here's a guy" " let me tell you" or mention their height in eighths of an inch, do a shot. You won't last 5 minutes watching ESPN. I will say that Reece Davis is way frigging better than Mike Greenburg, who you can tell tries to interject his "knowledge" and you know he is full of shit. At least Davis lets the analysts do their thing.

Been so damn busy today but I'm probably free in an hour.

I was wondering about it when Clifford went at #149, and NFL-N just confirmed it. This draft sets a record for most QBs taken in the top 150 picks.

BTW. Swift went to Georgia too

That's why I said the funniest thing about the trade is that Roseman is a Florida Gator. Not only drafting half the UGA team but now trading for them too.

    Project QB Vikings?

I think your right, they keep going down with injuries.

Just got in... again and I see the Vikings snagged a QB and a DT. I like it a lot.

    Jaqualin Roy, DT LSU

    Jaren Hall , QB BYU

This is real nice, imo. Im happy.

I have to admit . . . I'm more than a little underwhelmed with the Browns' draft. The only bright side is that Browns fans are already used to finishing last in the AFC North.
    • First, we trade away our 2nd round pick for a Wide Receiver. Then spend our 1st pick in the draft [3-11] on a . . . Wide Receiver with gaping needs at IDL and LB.
    • Then, after filling rotational needs on the D-line and a back-up O-tackle, we draft our forth QB in the 5th round.
    • The Browns keep spewing that the draft is a collaborative effort where all levels of the organization and coaching staff have input into the draft board. If that's truly the case, then the LB's coach must be either a deaf-mute or a leper.

I really like Roy too, as probably a 1-technique.
Could maybe play 0-tech as well. Strong dude. Rarely gets moved.

Exactly. Im surprised mildly he was still available too.

Side note; I drafted Jaren Hall to the Vikings in the 6th round of our Collab draft.

My "way too early" prediction: Stefanski and Berry will not be employed by the Browns in 2024.

    @Willie

On a glance, there are a couple teams that I think have stood out pretty well on both ends of the spectrum.

I know a lot of people are bagging on the Lions, but they came away with potentially 4 day one starters and two players that could become starters within 3 seasons out of their first 6 picks. That's pretty fucking solid, IMO.

Pittsburgh must have someone in that front office that is close to the most connected, if not the most connected, in the entire league. Two years in a row they have navigated the draft to get multiple players on their wish list without having to sell the farm or do a lot of jockeying for position. Probably drafted 3 immediate starters and two high level spot contributors that can become starters in their first 5 picks.

I disagree with @matthewwillson29 on the Bengals draft. I thought they came away with a solid selection of players through 5 rounds, and I like what Arizona has done. If they move Pappoe into the secondary...

Like what the Patriots did, except for the fourth on a kicker.

I'm not on board with the Commanders draft, and if not for dumb shit like that, the Cowboys would boatrace everyone to the bottom of that division.

Throw in the Giants having a solid draft so far and I expect to see Dallas and Washington finishing 3rd and 4th in the East.

Finally, a pair of teams that quietly put together interesting drafts would be the Bucs and the Browns. There is zero flash in the Cleveland draft, but it feels like they just safely filled in some gaps. Tampa Bay did the same thing, but it feels like they did it with more talent.

And they turned around and flipped Swift to the Eagles, so they are not messing around. I actually see them in a dog-fight with the Vikings for king of the North.

Steelers killed it and with excellent precision. Addressed their holes like you stated and with the top-notch prospects. Porter Jr is a great story to. Broderick Jones is a large addition in the trenches and then Benton on the other trench and 2 picks in the second was very smooth.

lol, Kickers in the 4th is crazy and the 49ers did them one better.
Im curious why they went QB, that one raised an eyebrow, but future insurance isnt a bad idea either.

    Thanks for the response.

Of all the teams to get Karl Brooks it had to be the freekin Packers. Im really high on Brooks, but too bad He's in GB and will be sacking Cousins soon.

This Jarren Hall QB is interesting he's a mobile QB something the Vikings haven't had in a while but he seems to have a good arm he likes to throw the deep pass
