Tyler Steen! I told my buddy I think that is the pick. And there is the Safety, Sydney Brown! Very happy with both picks. They were actually what I wanted here. Maybe Washington.
Eagles reloaded nicely in these first three rounds. All the more reason for the Cowboys war room to look so glum.
I was hoping Hooker would end up in Las Vegas though, just for the name. (For anyone who doesn't know, prostitution is legal in Nevada.)
And his last WR is still on the board. Lots of different flavors available. Steen and Brown were my personal BPA, maybe Washington. But I'm sure others would disagree and say Ringo, Hyatt, Simpson, Adebawore, Downs, etc. Looking at my picks though, the only guy I took by the time the were drafted that weren't gone already was Devon Achane.
If Fontenot really is flipping over to need-based for rounds 2-3, WR seems like the most likely choice. Maybe DT, but WR jumps out as the next area of need.
This is why I wanted Atlanta to trade up. Giants probably moved up specifically to get ahead of the Falcons.
And there's the big-body WR taken right after the speedster. Atlanta truly would have done well to move up and get their choice. Wondering now if they go a totally different direction.
Mixed feelings on this. No problem taking ONE edge rusher, but they would have gotten much greater impact with either of the receivers taken just ahead of them.
Falcons probably got one of the last edge rushers with decent potential. Byron Young from Tennessee is probably the last one before it gets much riskier.
